Hi all,
I’d like to share sde-deltas, an unofficial open repo that tracks what changes in the SDE from one build to the next, down to field level.
What you get
For every new SDE build, the repo publishes what was added, removed or changed compared with the previous build, so you can update your own data incrementally instead of re-importing the whole SDE.
deltas/index.json: build chain with dates and verification statusdeltas/<build>/delta.jsonl.gz: schema operations and record changes (added / removed / changed)deltas/<build>/manifest.json: per-table counts and SHA-256 hashessummary.csv/verification.csv: human-readable overview and discrepancies
How it works
A GitHub Actions workflow fetches new builds, compares every table, and cross-checks the result against CCP’s official changelogs. It also flags changes that were not documented in the changelog.
How to consume it
- Read
index.jsonto find the builds you need - Download the deltas and verify their hashes
- Apply the lines in order to your SDE copy
- Optionally check record counts against the manifest
The first published delta is build 3031812.
Repo
Code is MIT. The delta data is CCP’s property and is shared under the EVE Developer License Agreement for non-commercial use. Feedback, issues and PRs are welcome.
