Confirming I had the same issue last night with d-scan where it would flip back to my ship at a weird angle instead of the asteroid belt.
Please fix!

Ditto.
Same problem.
same here.
Polite bump, more of a nudge really.
Only one exception found in this bug:
camera tracking works on “Empire Border Rare Asteroids”, which is a bit weird since this is an Ore Anomaly with an asteroid field bracket visible on Overview and in space (it’s not supposed to have one, right ?).
On another note, when you enter a system that has Metenox moon drills deployed, when opening your cargo hold in space (Active Ship window) every Metenox drill will show up as a ghosted container in the list on the left immediately upon entering the system. Separate bug report filed for that one too…
Any closer to a fix?
Interesting thing I just noticed: Dscaning towards asteroid belts on the F9 system map works as expected. Dscaning towards the same belt via in-space brackets has the same borked behavior.
please fix
@CCP_Swift Polite bump and tree shake, hoping to get a fix before the next addition of bugs on the 29th.
hello?
I am also seeing the incorrect camera behavior when clicking asteroid belts in space or on the overview. I had not tested it from the system map until today, but I also have the incorrect behavior there as well. Clicking an asteroid belt from anywhere (system map, overview, bracket in space) causes the auto-tracking camera to focus on my ship.
The system map still works if you do the dscan from there: have camera tracking on, hold dscan button and leftclick on an asteroid belt.
Even the camera will swing on to that belt.
But that’s the only dscan option for asteroid belts that is still working, as I reported earlier.
I swear that the system map method was not working for me when I posted a couple days ago, but you are correct, and it was working when I tested it today. Still not working from the overview or space, however.
ccp…
Don't be sad little one, while you wait for a bug fix you can always buy a nice SKIN in the NES or make your own with the new SKINR feature, that will make you happy.

Exciting times !! It’s expansion day today. That usually comes with a number of bug fixes. Maybe this one, that just celebrated its 2 month anniversary, got a fix ?
