perhaps you should put your “expertise” to good use and tell CCP what they are doing wrong then… Or you can read more into my post than was there as I only said it was an excuse they used instead of admitting when they ■■■■■■ up. And my comment on altering old code on the fly for years has come from what they have explained they have been doing for years.
It hurts me when people are complaining and saying bad things all the time to developers who are working since 5 am in the morening in Sunday thats all… I also wanted to point out that this issue is about their server providers not about game.

It’s making it impossible to multibox with accounts dropping offline which cause them to drop fleet etc.
thats not safe either, but at least there can be player “interaction” right? lol.
Maybe just “mine 1000 veldspar” so those of us who are scared/smart can fly out in brick tanked hyperion or rokh miners lol. I remember my old rokh, had better mining yields than a covetor and at least 10 times the tank
I propose an in-game quarantine and virtual distancing in the game until this virus reaches “beaten dead horse” level. CCP needs to issue 1,200,00 ISK checks as well and ask all stations to waive the rent until the Russia…I mean attacks have been stopped.

I noticed that upon logging in an account, sometimes you are disconnected. Even on accounts that were running fine.
I wonder if traffic management is responsible? Maybe I’m just wrong. But not sure how to explain things running fine then instantly complete loss of server connection, which usually persists for a few minutes.

I don’t run alts but I tried to log in to do some station trading and for the last 30m it’s been letting me log in, select a character, and then closing the socket and kicking me out. Running some diagnostics now, maybe that’ll help
EDIT: Seems like I have one expired certificate for *.eveonline.com. Gonna try a reinstall in case it’s clientside, but also my traceroute had half timed out requests for every single route, and my ping was fine. Unsure if anyone can make sense of the diagnostic data / if they’re having the same issues. Maybe CCP pushed a bugfix and it broke everything?
I have problems too from more than 2 hours, I’m in Italy and don’t have alts.

Most likely some of the servers are getting hit more than others, hence the intermittent issues.
Also, somebody on the forum tried from different regions with a VPN and posted results - Europe is not getting through right now.

Maybe since the jita Botting and scaming works still fine, how about kicking them out and let real people play?

In your case I fully agree with the server.
Bollocks, I have been playing for hours.
EVE-Servers are too susceptible to attacks and have a hard time identifying legitimate requests from their own software and illegitimate requests from attackers.
