Unable to connect steam account to client?

Returning player, just reinstalled the game and trying to connect my account(s) to the client. I click the steam button, end my details and hit log in… nothing happens. Just keeps popping up with “Greeting Captain” and wants me enter an email and start a new character. I’ve also tried standalone accounts by entering the email and password, still no luck.

I can log into the EVE Online website just fine, but this app… A pain in my ass.

@Ben_Okel can you attach a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

I’m see nothing, thats the problem. I click add account, sign into my steam and bam, nothing happens… same thing if I try one of my standalone accounts with an email and password. Can log in on the website no problem. I’ve also deleted and redownloaded EVE, no difference
