Unable to place Metenox drill

I’m just diving into placing structures, so I apologize if it’s an easy answer. I looked through the docs and didn’t see anything I’m obviously doing wrong.

I’m trying to place a Metenox moon mining drill. I’m in a corp and have been given the following roles:
“Config Equipment”
“Config Starbase Equipment”
“Contract Manager”
“Fitting Manager”
“Starbase Defense Operator”
“Starbase Fuel Technician”

I’m in a 0.1 system - found a moon with an Upwell mining beacon. I warp to the beacon, right click on the moon drill in my inventory, and I do not have the option to “place for corp”. Only Jettison.

I have Anchoring 3, but from what I’ve seen you don’t need anchoring to place the Metenox.

What am I missing?

Metanox Moon Drills will require an Integrated Moon Drill Armature to be built, and will always drop it at a 100% rate. This functions as a built in Upwell Quantum Core. The cost of the core is 300 million ISK in Upwell Consortium member stations

as far as the IMDA,
They are sold by NPCs in Upwell member corp stations in the market, they are not for LP

Thanks I saw that, but don’t you need to place the Metenox first? I didn’t see the player on YT deploying anything first. Just right clicked the moon drill and had an option to “place for corp” next to Jettison

So the IMDA was needed to build the MMD… looks like you have certain distances… im watching a YT on placing it in J space.

are you putting it on the right moon? or using probes to find the right moon? idk i don’t mess with this.

i see this for upwell structures…
Only a Station Manager, Director, or CEO of the player owned corporation may deploy an Upwell Structure.

maybe you need to be station manager, the one role you don’t show you were given above… i bet if you’re given that role, you can launch it in space.
