Backup/Restore Folders

%LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve\launcher\usercache\

Copy this entire folderbefore updates. Contains all account tokens/settings.

Immediate Restore

  1. Close launcher completely

  2. Copy backed-up usercache folder back to %LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve\launcher\

  3. Launch EVE → All 22 accounts auto-populate

Prevent Future Wipes

Pre-update ritual:

1. Copy usercache folder to desktop "EVE_Backup_[date]"
2. Update launcher
3. If wipe occurs → Restore from backup (30 seconds)

Rollback Launcher (if needed)

Delete: %LOCALAPPDATA%\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve\launcher\

Launcher auto-redownloads on next Steam/standalone run.

Your files are safe—accounts aren’t deleted, just cache wiped. Restore usercache and you’re back in 1 minute.
