This section of the forums has rules that the default language is English
The post was hidden because of alleged abuse? When did I ever insult anyone? I think people who read it need to really understand the content. If other languages aren’t allowed, EVE is an international platform, so fairly speaking, it shouldn’t be discriminatory. Even if there was an official tag for my language, I wouldn’t want to go through the trouble of constantly translating, all just to make EVE better in the future.
CCP is a privately owned corp… not a “international platform”. They decided to use English. They are not required to provide anything else.
Theres several language specific areas on the eve online forums. If you wanna use your specific language, and we have it on here, please use it. If you prefer engaging with those who speak English, be respectful and translate.
Your most recent post is not in English. Perhaps this was accidental, e.g. if your browser is doing translation automatically for you.
What is wrong with using pinyin names? Don’t you need to know pinyin in order to type Chinese? I would also assume that reading pinyin is far more familiar to you?
Why isn’t it mutual respect? If there’s a Chinese section, please give me a link. Thanks a lot.

Seems i was incorrect. I thought both chinese and japanese had its own forum section

The default language for posting on the EVE Online forums is English. Please use English when posting as a courtesy to other forum users, unless the forum channel is specifically created for discussion in another language as part of our localized language specific sub-forums.
