Using a proxy

Anyone knows how to use a proxy for eve with linux?

I’ve tried with the HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY variables and setting a proxy for IE as I would on regedit: https://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#How_do_I_configure_a_proxy.3F

None of those worked. I’m experiencing the login issues that a lot of people are having, but only happens with ADSL. I can log in fine if I share internet with my phone. Access to login.eveonline.com is blocked and even in the browser I can’t access it (unless I set a proxy)

Hi,

afaik eve has no native proxy support. You either need a transparent proxy in your network to grab and route through a proxy the tcp streams eve uses or use a vpn.
