Vanguard "Play now" but won't launch

It downloaded 13gb of something, then some more after I restarted the computer… Vanguard says “Play Now”… BUT when I click it and the button turns grey “Game client is launching” it goes back to “Play now” shortly after.

How do I get in? I want to play!

Might be due to the login server sso issue.

Yes I am having the exact same issue. Super annoying. I’d like to get that exclusive pod so not being able to play is frustrating. It is still doing this at at 10.37am Saturday 9th December.
