Version 18.12 - General Feedback

as is why do i get the feeling that i have better odds to find a winning lotto ticket walking down the street then finding a ice belt any where it normaly would have spawned if one even spawns in that region in the first place

there is a differnce between full random spawn and controlled spawn as it stands it more pray to rngesus and hope it spawns in 20 jumps

Havent had ice all December, so where is it? Some random low sec system where no one mines it?

The 2020 gold rush : when people demanded the gold came to them

You need to wanda around and go for the ice belts. Agency made it easier for you as well.

It’s so nice of CCP to turn off my UI temporarily now when I am in a heavy load system. Much appreciated, CCP, I really had no idea that I could play without this information.

The restrictions for an unquored structure seem insufficient to me. Offlining station services or removing layers of protection should be added. Probably both.

I donĀ“t think many athanors or raitarus will be upgraded if the moon drill, repro facilities or the labs and the factories are still able to work and the citadel is as hard to bash than before…

The far bigger issue with lack of incentive to bash a structure than your openly uninformed point is that the Athanors in themselves are pointless right now. R8 goo is worthless and unusable. Besides, you already get up to hundreds of millions in loot and salvage from structures. Only spoiled brats like you need more rewards.

So you’ve just completely given up on curing the red dot plague, huh?

R16 is almost worthless also, and IĀ“m not interested in bashing stuctures, donĀ“t know where you want to go…

I“m just thinking in the whole purpose of the introduction of quantum cores wich is, reducing structure spam, act as ISK sink, and promote conflict. These will not be met if the cores for existing structures are not more heavily enforced.

If you don“t like the feature, you had another places to show it. Now it is live, I“d prefer if at least it serves its purpose.

It does for all the new structures. And with the typical #CCPQualityCoding it makes existing structures more annoying to use, too. Just bash the structures you don’t like when they go abandoned and get it done. In the past, it was reward enough to annoy people with attacks on their structures and POS. Quite astounding how much pampering, handholding and rewards people need these days to do something.

Shame they dont and arent.

@CCP_Dopamine The new core patch removes repair / tether / fitting. You did not change the Show Info Services tab. A fort still reports it has Repair and Fitting on the services tab despite not having it.

The only way to find this out is to warp to a structure and click on it, to see the ā€œCore Absentā€ message. There is no way to pre-plan a flight route.

The services tab already changes based on what services are available to you, cores should not change this. The Show Info should not just lie to players.

Im surprised so many people dont realise the effects of the quantum core mechanic has been. Literally every new structure i’ve seen anchored in hi-sec or a existing structure that has a core put in it has been instantly wardec due to the 100% drop rate and great npc resell values making wardecs quite profitable.

This mechanic is broken and dont work, leaving only TTT structures left in hisec. FIX YOUR GAME

Why would you put a core in if you didnt have one before?

Muh tether and muh repairs more important than actual indy?

Just keep a logi ship there? Seems that would cover what the structure would handle accept during combat?

Pretty much this. If you live in hisec theres no reason to core a citadel. Just keep a hull and armor repairer of every size, and refit in any NPC station. Hell you can even have a mobile depot permadeployed on the undock of your citadel and refit as you undock.

Your citadel will be safer than before for not being a juiciy target.

This is fine, but for new player/corps wanting to drop a simple structure now after these change, it simply cant be done. Anyone new player or small group must now rely on a TTT structure to do science jobs or ore compression.

Because why? They need to crab the same amount of time again for the core? Which they never lose as an asset unless their station is destroyed?

And why would you need TTT structures? There are literally hundreds of non-TTT stations all over the place.

I think cores are wank, but this has made literally no difference in regard to these points.

the lack of ice belts in systems with infrastructure for ice has gone on long enough. our ā€œiceā€ system is into its 4th week with no ice. the nearest ice systems are in other people’s sov space. not sure what the real intent of the change was, but fueling stations is becoming a serious issue.

You didnt read my point, once they anchor a structure they will get instantly wardecced so the aggressors can profit off the core.

Core drop rates shouldnt be 100%, should have the same rate as normal loot. Remove 100% drop rate and I wouldnt have a issue with cores
