Also you can still AFK mine and it still pays crappy just like it did before the update.
So the Update broke Ice Mining completly and noone at ccp seems to have a clue how to fix it.
Age of prosperity my ass. Its over 2 weeks now and still not fixed.
It really seems like CCP wants to breed some scarcity on their bank account…

Removing two of the medium power slots on the Procurer Mining Barge does nothing to help beginning players like myself. In fact it makes me less able to survive a rat attack due less slots to put shields and hardeners.

It allows you to go for a bulkhead fit opening up your mids for a prop mod, to help with aligning and covering distances, and a survey scanner. Like this:

After much experimentation with multiple ships & configurations I make this prediction; Most formerly Orca solo miners will become solo Mackinaw miners. It’s not that bad actually.
SO, when are the blue ice fields coming back to Brape and ARD.
That was the intention of CCP most likely anyway, mission accomplished.

One problem I’m having with this new patch is that in high sec my Miasmos can get stuck between 2 asteroids and is unable to get out. I can’t even warp off to come back to the belt.

That has been fixed a while ago by fixing the Machariel bumping with the 3 minute warp timer. Just start your warp and wait 3 minutes. You could also setup bookmarks further away from the rocks so that you don’t have to worry about getting stuck.
NPC mining fleets need to go (at least in low-sec). The npc miners eat all the belts and anoms before anyone in North America even sees them. Its time to get rid of the npc miners.
CCP says its wants people to mine in low-sec…stop the NPCs eating all the rocks and people will mine.
