While the minor attention to pirate BPC cost is nice, do you guys ever actually plan to bring value back to the BPCs? It’s laughable just how worthless they are, being able to pick up Cynabal BPCs for 5m and it still not being worth building is a problem.

Not having interacted with the Pirate Factions recently, I’m guessing one just redeems LP for the hulls directly - or…?
They require the bpc for lp then net resonators which are pure lp so a lot of ship value is now in the lp.
Which is a good thing imo.
So while you still need the BPC - it sounds like actually manufacturing the hull(s) with resources is more expensive than redeeming them with resonators in the various stores. Yes?
There is no more redeems only manufacturing.
So the problem is…? Just that the BPCs are worth almost nothing?
Yip the bpc itself is a tiny portion of the ship cost, most of the cost is in gas components and net resonators a bit in PI and some in t1 minerals, but yea bpc itself is worth almost nothing.
So people running ded’s are hurt by it, but tbh I would rather remove the drop chance for bpc’s from ded’s and faction rats, leave it only to mission runners and then increase the drop chance of actual modules from deds/faction rats it would work out better anyways.
Then the only way to give the BPCs more value would be to make them more rare. Aka not offering them in stores, just letting them drop from exploration/pve.
So no patch notes for the ~700MB (at least for me) update today…?

@CCP_Bee I haven’t noticed anything wrong except a bit of hangups/freezing once in a while but it is probably my computer.
One suggestion if I may: seperare the station ambiance sounds from the NPCs on the PA so we can mute the PA if we wish.

lol, that’s rich coming from an alt character that was newly created on 11/23/2024 which also joined this forum on the very same day, done with the sole intention to troll and disrupt every single thread…
Obviously the owner of that character doesn’t have the balls to post with their main character…

Not just that but CCP don’t route through the test server so there is no changes on hoboleaks for a few weeks already.
@DeMichael_Crimson btw I was completely wrong about sun types having an effect on which sigs spawned, tracked scans for months and it avg’s out after awhile

That means CCP could troll us super hard and put some weird changes on the test server let us see them on hoboleaks and freak out even though its never making it into the game

Why is the new ship information window using a completely different style? It looks like it is not properly fitting with the rest of the UI - almost as if something is broken and as if the ship information window is not following the UI style:
