Back in July of last year the sales tax was at 8% and reduced down to 4.5%
The EVE Economic Council, our internal team that monitors the in-game economy, weren’t satisfied with the results from the lower sales tax and wanted to bring it back to the levels they were before. We’ll continue to monitor the effects.
@CCP_Bee how does a PIR site differ from the existing ADV sites? Are they capped at pirate or do they still include T2? Is the naming change only on Insurgency complexes or the existing FW complexes also?
If you think about it very carefully, you can understand… but if you want me to tell you fine. The issue is scale, anyone who has a small alliances may not able to or have difficult to defend their structures compared with larger alliances.
I know, that is the risk of placing structures down in EVE and I understand that CCP want more conflict… I still think they should of done a small change first, either remove damage cap removed or manual repair.
@CCP_Swift Any chance you could look at increasing the npc buy orders for Rogue Drone Infestation Data
you can get a 6k per day per toon but the npc buy orders are 1k, so it ends up being a lot of clicking, and server load to sell large quantities of them.
please increase it 10x or 100x the present concord npc buy order.
Many thanks
My poor wrist
CCP should do nothing to make someone happy but everything to make EVE a better game. Right now people filament a DST full of cargo into Pochven, instacloak at their entry spot, wait out their 15min timer cloaked and then filament out again. Zero risk. Nobody can catch them as long as they just pay attention not to get decloaked by a MoOb ping.
This is plain wrong. Filaments getting a spoolup so hunters with combatprobes can try to catch people using them is a way to add danger to this highway. As it should be. As I said, if you live there, you have actually no problem making yourself a Deepsave for filamenting out. Getting caught there within 60seconds of randomly opening a trace is extremely unlikely. And a Devana-1 only has 60seconds timer, not a big deal.
They could stop making events that require fleets and/or specific hulls. Fleet activities are fine in events - but they shouldn’t come at the expense of solo play.
Last I checked I can play an MMO however I like and other more successful MMO like Albion offer rewarding activities for solo-players, too. Last I checked, CCP also touted about player freedom and not coercing players into a particular play-style.
How about if this “Economic Council” releases some data, musings, insights and reasonings for their introduced changes to taxes and fees? Considering the poor state of the economy overall, it is hard to believe that they have any clue on how to manage this economy well. Maybe they should consult with a professional like CCP Eyjo.
Or have you managed to get one of his students to help fix Phych’s and Rattati’s utter mess?
Patch notes said combat battlecruisers got their insurance increased but unless we are only talking about like 100 isk or something the insurance looks exactly the same, its still ~25 million isk gain on platinum.
Was the change really so low that it is unnoticeable?
