They should just disallow all anomalies for both types of CRABS + belts.
Maybe that will happen after another 6months…

I don’t know if it would have changed anything in your case, but the industry jobs range is calculated through shortest route only. So, if your in-game settings are set for ‘safest route’ then it is indeed possible to go in the wrong direction and end up outside range, even though you should be within range by deduction of a sufficient number of jumps. I’ve had that happen. When checking range on industry/science jobs you gotta set the autopilot to ‘shortest route’ and go by that.
perhaps it angered too many campers trying to train their recruits in the fine art of blapping everything that comes through the gate. think of the noobs!! ™
It would not because shortest route means it includes ansiblexes for the jumps number visible in the industry window. But the real number of jumps that the Start Jobs button uses is a wholly different number.
Guess they needed a way to make the Campaign Bus look good.. other then the ability to warp cloaked its utter ■■■■.
What are you talking about?
In my 5 yeas of trig highway, I wa only once scanned down, in pochven area and I warped to my safe point 200km away and laughed at two guys coming whole 50 seconds after I removed myself from there.
Waited 15 minutes and jumped out…
Only once.
I moved probably about trillion isk that way.
There is ZERO need to have ANY of these timers.
When i am ganking in HS, I am sitting and waiting for them to come to me.
Free isk from not very smart players.
But to sit in one system HOPEFULLY WAITING FOR SOME RANDOM TO COME AND JUMP?
You must have all the time in the world.
No hate, just saying.
I think you misunderstood.
If nobody is chasing you, there’s no time pressure and you can sit waiting on a spooling-up filament as long as you want and nobody will care.
What I’m talking about is a different case: people who roam, steal an ESS or catch a Marauder and then get chased.
These people then warp between some safes for a few minutes until their combat timer is gone and teleport out of the system with a filament with no way to counter these players.
At least logging off has a timer, but in the past filaments had no such timer. Players could just instantly teleport away out of a chase.
CCP realized this was an issue and was smart enough to add spool-up timers to filaments, to decrease the capability of filaments to be used to simply avoid content.
But now CCP reduced that spool-up timer. Apparently ‘because it was a barrier to content’.
Whoever suggested this change misunderstood the purpose of those spool-up timers; this timer exists to create content and to make fleeing a fight less easy.
This reduction of filament spool-up timers will reduce content and make fleeing easy again, as long as you do it outside Pochven. Inside Pochven the spool-up timers were increased and for good reason, but for a strange reason it was reduced outside Pochven. Why?
Whoever came up with this suggestion seems to have had a very Pochven-centric view and had no interest in having content outside Pochven as well.
This is a strange view, because filaments affect gameplay outside Pochven too.
Roden didn’t get banner space at the Campaign Trail start (I’m not posting it under the issues thread, because I don’t think it’s an issue exactly):
Hey CCP,
Just want to say that your new carrier CRAB beacons are terrible for their intended purpose. Carrier has 0 chance to finish it within 1 hour. Zero.
You simply tweeked original beacons scan timer and and some payout values and jobs done…
Carriers were trash tier for original 10 minute beacon because they had terrible dps and tracking. They could barely finish it before beacon expires, but now you added another 6 minutes without actually making rats easier.
Only ones currently happy with this beacon are supercarrier and dread pilots that has carrier alt, they got beacon with better payout and one extra link.
This could have been caught if you actually had a staffer try running one with carrier, but obviously you did not do that.
please give option to turn off rock crumbling sound and mining crit sound for fucks sake
What is this? I flagged it as spam. Please remove.
Titles and faction warfare membership are causing character profiles to distort and crop character portraits.
so isauni is king ?
Well if you suggesting content is small fleet cant run away gets out number and blasted to death by large NS responds fleet then that is not content. Sorry but why should i feed NS zKillboard for easy kills with 1 v 10 ratio. No f that i simply wont do any filamenting content.
I was contemplating saying something good about this crappy Gallente event, namely that the sig spam is so far bearable. However, then I noticed today that these utter trash Tier 3 Data sites Drone Iteration Depots in 00 require me to go down to 0.25 AU probe range to scan them fully, even with effing Virtues. I instantly regretted even considering saying something good about this crap.
CCP outdid itself here. Not only do they insist on spamming the utterly annoying Tier 3 data sites, they also made it harder to scan them than normal Tier 3 sites. This is bonkers.
Moment of truth — everyone knows this more or less, but CCP it is time you finally start working on the game:
Rebuild the CSM election system, everyone has known for a very long time that these are groups of people who are elected by corporations, we receive exact instructions who to vote for, and they receive instructions what to say — CCP aren’t you ashamed?
limit / reduce the size of alliances, let the galaxy map live, instead of 3 big alliances honestly 2 big alliances unofficially ;), let smaller alliances develop, more wars more ships will be destroyed, instead of focusing on how to make life harder in High sec, aren’t you ashamed?
Add proper music, for such an old game you totally ignored this aspect
improve missions:
for example in security lvl 4 missions sometimes I have to mine, mission clarity is sometimes very unclear and misleading especially for new players
also on higher level missions I want to fly a specific type of ship and not be “forced” into ship rotation
improve corporation contracts, so it is visible who contributes resources, and for example the possibility to request different materials in one single contract
multiboxing is the cancer of this game, having omega should allow developing multiple characters on one account and switching between them, but in this game absurd follows absurd just so you can earn more money
Question — who are you making this game for? For all players or for the chosen few?
this won’t work, cause then they will just form coalitions outside the game.. and we’ll still be back where we are now.
new players are not doing L4’s so your argument on that is null.
and the only higher level missions where you have to fly something different than your typical mission running ship are the anomics.. which are completely optional.
You don’t have to vote for the guy(s) your alliance/corp tells you to vote for. I was in a big nullboc for a long time, and, yes, we were told who to vote for every single election. Did I follow ‘‘instructions’’? Absolutely not! I researched the candidates and made up my own mind. There is no way for your alliance/corp to verify who you actually voted for. And they don’t own you! Stop being lemmings and start thinking with your own head.
And with all this said – I do agree CSM is quite ridiculous the way it is. And at the very least CCP should strongly discourage any and all voter manipulation attempts (incl. attempts to influence how your own corp/alliance members vote).
How would you prevent your alliance leaders from advertising a list with candidates to vote for?
Everyone in my alliance is required to vote for me, and only me.
