It’s a shame you don’t run, I think you’re one of very few people who would actually go to bat for the actual players of the game on the CSM, rather than just treat it like a ”free Icelandic vacation” ticket.
Why is the event so difficult? It’s incredibly difficult to sit on the Rampant Drone Fabricator anomaly for over an hour while being jammed and neutralized. What were you developers thinking when you made this anomaly?! The reward isn’t worth it. I lost my ships on this anomaly. You won’t restore them. Even on Marauder, it’s very difficult. The drones are jamming all the ships in my fleet! These new enemy drones are very smart and powerful. It’s incredibly difficult! And if there are more allied ships on the anomaly, the reward per character will decrease. Complete this Rampant Drone Fabricator yourself!
Have you tried mining scordite instead?

I see you’re a joker.
4.5 hours to finish the event doing Level 1 security missions and trading Candidate favours.
Virtually zero risk

you are assuming it should be risk free to get out after doing a roam and wanting to evac? It shouldnt, no one is asking for it to be impossible either. But a reduction to 45s swings it greatly in favour of the group wanting to exit, coupled with the rationale for making these changes highlights the development team put very little thought into the change. Filaments will return to being the preferred method to move billions of isk worth of loot out of jita, reducing the chance of it being intercepted along regular routes.
Note sure if this is a me issue but it’s broken.

Main render driver does not have valid scene.
I’m trying to use DX11 and the guy said
g py has dx10
I also have this issue since downtime.
Nah you’re just sand bagging on the back of my reply, you have ID10T error
I felt this was a mistake too razzing out lvl 1 missions in a arty dmg fit thrasher in no time . Still it beat doing lvl 4 missions for it . It was zero effort . It beat incursions as an earner/hr.
Can’t prevent it, just like you can’t prevent one politician privately making a deal with another to exchange favors in real life. However you can discourage it and punish it. If found out (say an alliance member presents CCP with screenshots of mails/convos), their endorsed members could lose their spot on the CSM, for example. Elections could be reheld, as it is done in real life when there is reasonable doubt about the legitimacy of the results and proof of voter fraud.
But endorsing candidates is a valid strategy in any election.
The way those mails from alliance leadership are phrased is ‘‘here are the candidates we have picked. You guys have to vote for them. You’ll have a couple of slots left for your own picks. Have a good day’’. It’s worded in a way as if they had a right to tell anybody how they should vote. It’s presumptuous. Not saying it’s forbidden exactly –
some douche can make a case shouting out loud to endorse his picks – they do it in real life as well. But nullbloc alliance leaders use the gullibility of their members, some of whom are new players, and they use their power position to influence votes. This is voter manipulation and CCP should take a stand on it.
Endorsement is all fine. Telling people to vote for one or the other candidate is not. There is a difference between the two.
Then they’ll just change the wording around their desired candidates and it’s effectively the same.
Sometimes the wording makes all the difference.
I care even less about the Gallente election than I do about real life democracy, for the same reasons. A) it’s totally pointless and B) the rewards for participation are insubstantial. What am I going to do with a campaign bus? Stuff it full of Exotic Dancers and yeet it into the sun? This is a video game, not a political simulator.
Some of us enjoy this stuff tho. Ignore if it seems pointless to you.
Good job, CCP. this is new. You released the patch notes BEFORE you applied the patch. Now why are we not getting an Extended DT warning?
To be fair you are warned. No little green light on the client is a dead giveaway. ![]()
That’s not a giveaway for anything. There’s also no green dot when it’s a 10 second dt…
