Version 23.02 - Catalyst - Known Issues

How does that enable scams?

If your contract is for 62500.01m³, it will still appear as 62500m³ on the list. The scam contracts have values after the decimal points, but the UI doesn’t display decimals.

Oh, thats rough

Adding to what SynInfo said: Even in the courier header, the contract appears as 62500.0 m³ when it’s in fact 62500.01 m³. There’s only one obscure place to see the actual volume and that warning is often times overlooked as it always shows up for DST since it does not take the Fleet Hangar into account for the volume check.

It’s just all around intentionally deceptive and scummy UI practice and development quality. So typical for CCP.

There is a problem with your web pages.

I was sent a link for 1 million SP but I wasn’t able to get it because your web pages are too confused and do not accept my credentials even though I’m using them to log into the launcher.

So… bye-bye 1 million SP. It’s a great start

Sounds awfully like you got scammed. Change your password ASAP

I don’t think so but even though, they will not get anything from the info I input on those Web pages. I keep my gaming data strictly apart from my private data.

What is the exact error message and have you checked your redeem queue for the skillpoints?

If someone got your account informations like username and password, the could steal your sp, transfer the char and so one .. when you landet on a compromissed website, you should REALY Chance the Password asap, and ad an auhenticator too….

I checked the skill queue and the error is it won’t let me sign in. But I think I can sign in with my Steam account. Will try again in a while.

I don’t think it was a compromised website. There’s just a confusion between my Username on the website and that of Steam. It even created another sign-in account on the Launcher based on my email. I deleted that one from the launcher because I don’t want more than one account.
It isn’t any big thing. I’ll figure it out.

Thank you

It seems you are already having two accounts now. Deleting an account from the launcher does only make it invisible on the launcher, but it exists now…
Following the invitation link there are two options…to register a new account and ā€œalready have an accountā€ā€¦ i think you confused a lot by using Steam. I can unfortunately not tell you how to proper login and claim the invitation with a steam account as i don’t know anything about it. Maybe someone else can help here or you need to do a support ticket.

There is however a help article for steam users, but i don’t know if it is still valid:
https://support.eveonline.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016957479-Steam-integrated-EVE-Online-accounts

Don’t create an EVE account through Steam. I know it’s not helpful in this case, but that’s the best way to avoid this issue. It’s exceptionally confusing and difficult to get some basic functionality to your account later on if it was originally made on Steam. Just use the CCP site.

Steam EVE accounts are still a thing? They were a mess a decade back, I’m not surprised it’s still the case.

I don’t think any other MMOs on Steam handle account creation that way.

Eve died for real today

It’s seemingly back up but it takes ages to load the client into the game environment. I also get Invalid Package Destination errors. And repeated disconnects after I was able to get back in briefly.

All this new and fancy Server tech stack is really paying dividends for reliability and stability.

My friend and I also had difficulty logging in on the third try, but he keeps getting kicked out, and all my chats disappeared.

i also cannot log in :frowning:

Back in again and nice UI job, CCP. :joy:
