Victory in Aldodan, victory for the Minmatar

Today I write on the eve of a glorious new morning, after a week of struggles and victories.

For months now, the forces of the Minmatar militia have fought and bled to rip free the northeastern pocket of our warzone from the oppression of the vile Amarrian slavelords, granted territory they did not earn by the hand of a fleet of largely automated warships.

For months we have had to stare at a yellow thorn in our eye, knowing that the people of Todifrauen and its surrounding systems were condemned to live under the oppression of near-machines.
And though through the heroic actions of the militia we were able to contain them to a handful of systems, we were never able to evict them, until now.

Last night the final infastructure hub fell in Arnstur and with that, at least for now, the occupation and enslavement of Aldodan is at an end!

My heart bleeds for all true Matari who had to live in chains, and it swells with joy at the thought of all those now free.
Freedom fighters have been deployed, and whatever factories, plantations, and other places of work have been established will soon be under new management.

I know many decry, despite the impact it has on the lives of those living there, the occupation and liberation of systems as a “pendulum war’. But when a constellation suddenly shifts from an unstable frontline to a secure rear line, I dare raise a cup in celebration!

Between that, and glorious battle in the system of Dal that saw the destruction of a slaver headquarters (see image), it has been a fine weekend.
When we stand together, our hearts united in the pursuit of liberty, none may break our resolve!
Our hulls are forged with the strength of a battered people who see a new dawn before them, and know that it is glorious!

Glory to the the pilots of the Circle of Vheroka, who have been a constant presence in those backline systems and were battling pirates and slavers alike all the way to the final siege!

Glory to the leadership and dogged determination of Terran Commander, a newly emerged Matari who is quickly cementing his presence amongst us as a legendary warleader.
In his honour, I will share with you a poem written by one of our warriors:

Minmatar. Amarr. Caldari. Gallente. Long ago, the four nations bullied each other, but not too much, really. Then, everything changed when the Farts attacked. Only Max Dudes, master of all four factions, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered a new FC, a fartbender named Terran Commander. And although his FC skills are somewhat good, he yet needs to find Max Dudes to save everyone. But I believe Max Dudes can save the world.

I-…Look, I didn’t write it, all right?!

Congrats, always good to see the Golden Fleet be picked apart for scrap metal. I am sure many Breachers will come from this. For freedom, and stuff.
