If the subject of this thread didn’t tip you off already, I’m working on the Palatine Keepstar that will have fual purpose. I created a video on my YouTube channel showcasing the new project and its relative scale.
The world is still a work in progress and there is no clear timeline of how long it will take. This is just a hobby after all. Here are some screenshots I have taken of the project from within Unity (version 2022.3.22f1). Credit goes to Thaddeus Reynolds for extracting the Keepstar asset for me, as well as OrcaToaster for applying the AudioLink to the Orca itself.
Compared to what you see in the video, I made some adjustments to the dance platforms by elevating them and moving them closer to where the DJs are expected to be performing. This gives the party goers a good view of each other across different platforms while isolating the chill areas for a more relaxing atmosphere whenever the people attending want a break.
The dance platforms will have a visual effect of a force field. The changes you see here are different from what you see in the video as these are recent.
The world is current Private in VRChat, but you can still visit it as long as you have access to the link below or be directly invited by someone already in the instance. Please note that VR is not required for VRChat and the Social VR platform is free to download and use on Steam.
The world is also currently NOT optimized until all basic features have been implemented and when the world is almost ready to be published on the Community Labs. However, some close friends have noted good performance already in the world from their perspective.
As usual, fly safe!
