That’s akin to saying ganking is like the EVE equivalent of “thinning the herd”. Except in this example they’re not necessarily thinning the right demographic.

If you cut off Uedama from the route they will just pick another 0.5 or 0.6 system somewhere else along the route…
How many systems already allow free PvP engagement?
How many mechanics are already built into the game to enable PvP in highsec?
Balance already exists.
The problem is not that highsec lacks PvP. The problem is that some players rely on easy math, low-hanging fruit, and zero risk while calling that balance.

Nothing they do is thought out or tested. Exordium doesn’t make the issue more tolerable, but worse. It now paints a target on new players. Let’s see…
Going into a WH, LoSec or wrong place/wrong time in HiSec and getting blown up in a ship.

Leaving Exordium with nearly everything you own and losing it all the moment you leave.
If the first option was hurting retention, what do they think the second option is going to do?
Why does Exordium even exist? To make it more tedious to move your items when you’re done with the career agents? These guys can make a whole new region NOBODY asked for, but can’t be bothered to do simple things like make all character creation clothing, hair and tattoo options available to all empires.

Sorry but Dreads are simply not allowed in the Amarrian or Caldari cultures. Robes are also strictly Amarrian and the other empires do not offer such breezy, but cultish attire belonging to slavers.

You’re right, that is still “Caldari space.” It would be the height of irony, though, if they added a new stargate from Sanctum to Uedama. “You’ll still get ganked, but at least you get it over with quicker.” – FC Fozzie.

I don’t think you read my post correctly.
I’m for new player retention, not getting noobs blown up in what they believe to be “high security” space.
There are white and brown Amarrian robes available. And what kind of capsuleer gives a damn about the cultural norms of lesser beings? We can put all kinds of robot junk on their face and replace whole limbs, but a decent facial tattoo is too much for Caldari? Gallanete are supposed to be the freedom and cultural openness, blah, blah, blah people and have the most limited choices of them all. They can’t even wear nice pants. Why do only Caldari get variety in jackets and colors in general? It’s complete nonsense for the sake of being nonsense.

If “Everything you own” when you leave Exordium is anything worth ganking, it would just indicate that Exordium income is too high.

I mean, we are “born” into the empires, we become independent after character creation. I was being cheeky with my response as well.

It’s not always, ‘Only those with high value get ganked’.. Some do it because it’s an easy target, some do it to pad killmail stats, some do it out of boredom and some do it out of spite…
