It’s a simple concept, people. This is an MMO. Work together. Get a trade group together and travel in a pack of 20+. They can only get one of you. Safety in numbers and whatnot. Again, the onus is on YOU, not FC…

Or… shop in Dodixie! The closest trade hub to all the other trade hubs! (once the expansion is live) Can’t have a choke point if you can go in 4 different directions 
Dodixie is (I believe?) the second largest trading hub?
Amarr, and it’s not close. Domain trading value on the April MER is approximately equal to Sinq + Metropolis + Heimatar.
Amarr is the second, Dodixie is not too far behind. It will be benefitting from being the closest to Manifest, but also Amarr are adding new HS gate connections in Genesis that will open a new trade route from Amarr to Dodi. (about 10 jumps less from Amarr to Jita).

Yes, it is more expensive than Jita. But still reasonable. Remember to get to Amarr, you are going through Uedama, Deltole area, and Gheth (after Tuesday will be Uedama and Genesis 0.5 systems). It is the place to go if you want to start in industry and sell to a local market and not compete with all the margins of Jita traders.
Another good reason to live under a WH! Do a few scans and pop out close to Jita.
And no local as well! 
No “known” local.
No Jita scammers…
