Everyone at CCP who dont play the game should resign. Because they are not helping and they will ultimately lose their jobs anyway because you cannot make a game better if you arent actively playing it yourself.
For example the Abyssal stuff is a couple years old by now. But its still a barebones concept imo and basic things like the red box that warns players they can lose their ship come up every single time. Like, i know. Stop telling me. And why do they allow filaments to be used 20 minutes before downtime? I am having trouble finding words for this kind of stuff. Its not like Abyssal was released recently. Yet simple annoyances still exist and down right flaws like allowing people to enter 10-20 minutes before downtime. I mean play your own effin game CCP so you actually know whats up otherwise just resign caus you are not helping

Only China had a separate server due to their draconian laws.
CCP eventually decided that the separate server wasnât worth diluting the EvE player base. The Chinese players have been integrated into New Eden Prime.
Part of the problem was in duplication of effort in maintaining two play realms with slightly different rule and asset sets.
If EvE were to be split again, then each realm would have a diluted player base and an emptier realm. Think itâs hard finding a gudfite now, try it with half the players.
One realm also means that staff only need to concentrate on maintaining one realm. Balance passes are in part driven by what players do. They would be doing different things in each realm, and the passes would also need to follow suit.
No. I donât think that having multiple play realms is the right choice for EvE.

Why ? So that whiny lazy people can avoid the grind and skills wait that has built up a power, ships, and skills base for others ? Why, after even my own meagre 2 years of skills and accumulation of resources and ships, not to mention 2 years worth of paying for Omega, would I want all that progress âresetâ just to please some lazy noob who canât be bothered with the wait ?
People who want this âresetâ seriously donât understand how Eve works. The accumulated progress is part of the very fabric of Eve. It is a personâs reward for sticking with the game for a long time. It is something that is earned by that longevity. Why should that all be negated just because some whiny little noob pipsqueak canât cope with the game ? Let them join the same queue everyone else did.

Are people really too dumb to know an alt when they see one? Im 100% on board with your mainâs pvp experience is all that matters but it very odd to see people calling out an alt that obviously doesnt undock⌠in a game where most of us have 3 toons and some have 97.
A perfectly logical position. And one that is predicated on avoiding playervase âdilutionâ as you put it. The corollary is, if a Fresh Start server resulted in more, not less, then CCP would have the money to pay for any extra staff time required.

No, everyone knows itâs an alt, thatâs the complaint. In Eve, whatâs important is your experience in the game. I have never done abyssals so I donât comment on how hard they are or how much money they make. I donât know. So itâs obnoxious when someone with no experience makes comments about they think should be changed. If you really believe it, post on your main and stand behind your opinion. But if you complain that ganking is too hard but have no evidence you have ever interacted with that mechanic, why should I attach any validity to your opinion? Youâre just wasting everyoneâs time.

War eligibility as a requirement to post in any non-support/announcement/new player section would go a long way toward solving the ship-toasting problem.

Iâd be game for that. As you know, I would love to see the removal of player owned structures in high sec. But Iâd be on board with what you said. But there would have to be some changes made.
No more 1 man holding corps.
Tethering disabled in high sec. No reason for it whatsoever.
When suspect, if targeted, no back peddling into the station.
When in a war, if targeted by opposing war member, no back peddling into the station.
You undock, youâre committed.
This is likely to have the effect of favoring larger groups more than small ones, since defending parties at station fights are almost always smaller than attacking parties.

Yes please. If you want to undock in your Orca at 4/4 and go suspect to shoot herons and thrashers, then no running away when the bhaalgorns and vindis show up.
