What happened to Eve?

Why do I need others to bow to my will? CCP is already in agreement with me. You’re the one trying to force others to bow to your will and implement changes that you want.

I think you are playing a different game and not eve. ccp is very much not in agreement with you, there are insane lots of pve, actually 90% of the game is pve so. sry, you need to head back to wow

That’s funny, because you’re the one demanding changes while we’re all saying “nope, leave things as they are”.

actually 90% of the game is pve

Nope, not even close. Please remember that mining, industry, market manipulation, etc, are PvP activities.

yeah, nope, mining is not, industry is not trading is not just market pvp is but insanely few people do it, missioning is not, ratting even if it happens in low or null are not and 90% of the time takes these activities. this is why so many of us leaves, there is no real incentive in playing pvp. no matter how you try to force people and keep saying this is a pvp game, no this is NOT. this is a pve game with some pvp

Everything in EVE is PvP. You have to compete with other players for limited asteroid and ice resources. That’s PvP. Your shiny L3/L4 mission ship can get ganked at any time. Mission running is PvP. Exploration is PvP. Industry is PvP. Your competition can war dec you at any time and blow up your manufacturing Citadel, etc…

Nope. Mining and industry are both activities where your success or failure is determined by competition against other players. IOW, textbook PvP.

missioning is not, ratting even if it happens in low or null are not

You’re right, these activities are the actual PvE in EVE. Coincidentally they are both menial zero-effort tasks, and if they were the entirety of an EVE player’s experience hardly anyone would stay in the game for longer than a few weeks. And if they were removed entirely the rest of the game would feel very little impact.

and you are double wrong again, mining is not more pvp than missioning or ratting and ratting is actually far more effort than mining. strangely all delve do nearly exclusively is ratting. tell them they are the minority, i think they will laugh all day

Oh really? Then tell me just how exactly your income from mining is determined.

So, miners don’t have to compete with other players for resources? Mission runners face absolutely no threat from other players while running around in their shiny L4 mission ships?

So let me get this straight, you think that an activity is not PvP if it involves a large group of players and not 1v1 competition? Is a large fleet battle PvE because each individual player has little impact on the outcome of the fight and their actions occur against the average of the masses in the opposing fleet?

ohh, then you have never tried it    there is much more pvp action in a lvl4 mission site than in any mining

Ask any Orca pilot that I’ve ever denied access to an Ice Anom and they will most definitely tell you that mining is PvP…

except its not an opposing fleet, its a coop fleet so its more of a coop pve

Miners must love the PvE I give em when I undercut their ore sales

Miners must also love the PvE they get when CODE pops them…

Or when other miners outmine “their” ore
