She apparently has a good set of pipes, her movie though was a flop.

@Zaera_Keena I had feeling you would like the song :slightly_smiling_face:
Also, it isn’t her movie and she got paid for her performance. I bet she figured “Hey, if Disney is stupid enough…

Eartha Kitt - Whatever Lola wants (1962)

From the 1955 musical “Damn Yankees”, Lola is the Devil’s assistant in a ploy to get the soul of a Senators fan in exchange of his team beating the Yankees at the World Series. Those are baseball teams, for reference, and apparently their rivalry was a thing in the 1950s as the musical was widely succesful. Eartha Kitt is one of many voices who sang this song, and, what a voice!

Stop using this song for every “eye gee” story/post. PLEASE! It’s creepy and extremely dark humor!

Uriah Heep - The lady in black (1971)

…a forgotten classic that’s been recovered so often that it’s no longer forgotten, but a classic it remains

(Because you don’t need to know: that’s a British Chieftain Mk. 2 medium tank on the cover art for the French and German releases of the album)
