What music are you listening today? II

…and now, for something completely different…

M - Pop Muzik (1979)

Yiole will deny that the girl with the high bun causes any kind of impure thoughts… like, not at all.

Also, “M” was the stage name of Rob Scott, a producer and writer who collaborated with some people you might know, such as one David Bowie, some Adam and the Ants, the likes.

And of course I brought this one because it’s been earworming me, and now will earworm you.

(Yiole, seriously, four… five times is enough)

Mecano - Maquillaje (1982)

It takes a real man to singalong this at top of the lungs in public and surrounded by a crowd of strangers.

Luckily I’m not.

You have zero idea how many MONTHS that “black hole sun” song played in my country on music channels when it first came out! Perhaps local people liked it, idk. :man_shrugging:

The best song to sing at airports and aboard airplanes:

and a mandatory EVE video with that song, if I may:

I stumbled accidentally on what they called “anti-Christmas playlist”, with Christmas music that’s not like Christmas music. Picked my eye because they mentioned Mannheim Steamroller, which is a staple of non-Christmassy Christmas playlists, and then they mentioned this…

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wizards in winter (2004)

…and this…

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Wish Liszt (2004)

non-Christmassy Christmas music. Cool.
