RETURNING TO THE SUBJECT OF THE THREAD:
I did some poking around on sisi last night and I haven’t seen anything that dissuades me from my previous analysis (with respect to the nullification issue), but I’m still testing things out hoping to find some evidence that this isn’t as game breaking as it very likely will be.
Since it looks like the three trends I outlined above aren’t going to change anytime soon it seems like it’s going to be a ‘beat them or join them or quit’ situation. I still don’t know which way I’ll fall, but I’m curious how you guys think you might adapt, specifically.

They really need to add multiple routes to Solitude TBH.
Several from caldari and gallente highsec. For too long risk free PVE from bears in solitude has turned it into a solo single player game and prevented PVP and combat minded folks from easy access.
Glad to see CCP Rattari putting in the work and fixing this.
This is simply not accurate. There’s plenty of pvp in Solitude. Look at the killboard for Anckee and Straloin.
But all games are single player games unless you are playing it with a friend on one console

My problem with the game’s evolution (and this has been years in the making) is that all changes benefit nullsec, very few benefit low sec, and none of them benefit high sec. Not everyone wants to dwell and kill in null sec. Some of us like industrial endeavors, and have no care for pvp or the risks associated with this, and CCP is going out of their way to eliminate players who desire such. Couple of cases in point: Screwing high-sec miners out of any kind of opportunity to mine even small amounts of the more exotic minerals and materials, with CCP’s changes to what moons produce in high sec. Another is about to be the changes to WCS. It’s bad enough an industrial producer has to constantly risk entry into low-sec to do things in order to build. Most notably, reactions. Changes to how WCS offers some protection to largely unarmed and low HP haulers (why don’t you just take away their cloaks, while you’re at it?) is just going to bottleneck industrial production further. At the very least, it will shut out more people who are more comfortable in high sec, or edge-system low sec, and prefer to exist there. Any plans to allow an Occator to utilize a CovOps cloak, as an offset to taking away their ability to defend against gate campers throwing 10+ points of tackle at them? Going to allow reactions in .5 space? Yeah, I thought not. If you really wanted to balance the game, stop allowing subscriptions to be paid for using PLEX. Nullsecs get to play for free because of the enormous shift of wealth to nullsec at the expense of high sec players who have to keep paying a sub or buying PLEX to function, because CCP shuts them out of many of the opportunities to make ISK in high sec, outside of market games and EVE-Bay auctions. Those 257 titans that just got thrown away on a meaningless Keepstar (funny how no one is arguing that ‘lack of content’ is driving these halfwit changes) are going to be much harder to replace with all the changes that have largely impacted industry negatively, and WCS changes ensure that production is brought to an even further crawl. How about making the game more interesting by allowing capsuleers to do things like go planetside and get in bar fights? I mean, yanno…they haven’t been on terra firma in, what? 18 years? Doesn’t matter, this is all screaming into the wind, CCP isn’t listening, and haven’t been for a long time.

Just the kind of response I’d expect from a self-serving troll. Screw those of us who want a more peaceful in game experience, as long as you get your KM’s easier, right? Your entire argument is that ‘pvp’ers need an easier time killing the indys’. You want your KM’s, get them the old fashioned way, instead of clamoring for new ways to get the industrial crowd to stick their heads up. It ain’t all about you. That’s really what this is all about. You want your kills to come easier and be more plentiful, allowing you to work less hard at it. Sounds like a good socialist to me.
