Is this the place to ask questions about Control Towers? I could not find a category for structures.
It’s a dead mechanic so…they will be removed “soon”.
CCP have been replacing POS functionality with the new Upwell structures for the past 4 years and reached feature parity with the introduction of FLEX structures last fall. There are still a few niche use cases where the control towers are useful and, beyond the cost of maintaining the legacy codebase, they aren’t causing any problems, so removing them from the game seems less urgent. I doubt they’ll survive the transition to DX12.
