Where have all the Detected Sites gone?

When Legion was launched, I was excited to try out the new “detected” exploration sites.

Oh man, were they awesome. It felt like just about every system had 10 signatures and most of them were data or relic sites. The sites themselves were great. The escalations were even better. I lost some blingy ships to enterprising Nullsec locals, but made more than enough to replace them. The ISK was too good. I knew it couldn’t last.

Here we are a couple weeks later and the number of sites has been drastically reduced. I’ve spent 5 hours of my Sunday hunting down every single detected site I could find for a total of 280mil and not a single escalation. It honestly feels like old exploration. Boring to the point that I don’t want to play anymore.

Am I missing something? Why add a major new feature if it’s going to be tuned to the point of irrelevance?

Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

Null sec probably turned the upgrades off again because the spam is really annoying and the massive influx of loot would kill any profits.

Either that or all of the competition is taking the detected sites.

While the new sites are nice, I’ve never seen as many explorers in space where I explore before.

It’s where you are. Where I am, literally tripping over detected sites as many of the systems have been upgraded so you get an overlap with the upgrade
