Where is the substance?

Expansions are gimmicks at this point and in between expansions we get events which just seems like gimmicks as well. Is this the best a $15-$20 monthly subscription can get? Looks like it

They nerfed the EOS because of multiboxing, but multiboxers will just switch to another ship. They nerfed the amount of people that can be in a FW Plex before the reward is split, but multiboxers will just find something else to do. And this is how CCP has been operating for a while it seems.

In other words they should get serious about fixing multiboxing or stop trying.

The biggest cause of multiboxing is that you can purchase omega subscriptions with ISK

The biggest cause of multiboxing is that EVE’s low APM and focus on ‘fleet’ play encourages players to form their private fleets.

It’s possible and it’s much more efficient than flying a single ship, so why not multibox?

Omega for PLEX isn’t nearly the biggest cause of multiboxing, many players can afford their own accounts.

But I don’t see what that has to do with your opening post. Are you rambling again?

Well all I can tell you is people are not being forced to buy omega. I am here today but off tomorrow. I play for free casually, never bought omega. There are some aspects of this game that I like and other player don’t like those same aspects. For example; I have read people crying about losing ships. I sort of like it. It is more immersive when my ship explodes and doesn’t just respawn as in Star Trek Online. I don’t like the lore about the pilots being suspended in a vat of goo. I would rather walk around on my ship solving problems while I travel. It would give me something to do. So obviously you don’t care for the expansions, but others do. They should know exactly what they are spending their time and money on, otherwise they get what they deserve. I would hope new players take time to research before spending money on anything.

Have fun!

Everyone likes substance and there would be less multiboxers if you couldnt buy Omega subscriptions with ISK

So you didn’t even recognize that multiboxing was fixed yesterday for you? aka. unable to login or run more than one client due to the errors in the graphics code that was released yesterday.

So do your stuff while you can and while it lasts. I hope it will be “unfixed” soon.

Skill proposal:

“Smuggling”
+10m3 to cargo capacity per level.

Well I don’t plex for omega either, but then removing this would have an very adverse affect on the game. Players do spend cash on plex to sell to those other players for ISK. Plex doesn’t just grow on trees. This would punish both the buyers and sellers of plex, causing both to possibly leave the game permanently. The last thing CCP wants is a mass exodus from Eve.

As for the multi-boxing issue, my opinion would be, either allow it for one and all, or rule it as an offense for all. I know CCP does this to promote users buying more than one omega account. It is their game, after all, and we are only allowed to play it by their rules. Even when the same rules don’t apply to everyone.

Have fun!

Also make the smuggling hold undetectable by scanners & a separate container from the main cargo bay like the ore holds are.

Bad idea

Reminds me of this:

Thats why the skill is called smuggling. You find compartments on the ship that allows a little more cargo space. Its not meant to help people smuggle since you already can use MWD+Cloak, blockade runner, or fast align ship to do that.

 :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

In before “but at level 5 then shuttles have 60m3 cargo space”

Look mom i quoted someone out of context

That too, shuttles aren’t meant to carry that much volume.

But I was mainly thinking about the Monitor which would become a near-invincible small items hauler if it were allowed to carry any items at all with such a skill.

That skill would cause a bunch of issues and I don’t see what problems it’s supposed to solve.

The ships that are meant to carry stuff won’t notice an extra 50m3 while ships that aren’t meant to carry stuff suddenly can carry significantly more.

Bad idea.
