if you make 200M ISK per hour and play two hours per day you can afford to PLEX a second account in about a week.
The server has 30,000 logged in characters. It does not seem bad when you compare it with how many logged in a couple years ago. (It was roughly the same) but when you compare it with the other games its not much.
When you consider EVE is in active devrlopment it player base should grow. Why work on the game if it doesent lead to positive results? But i digress
So the root cause of multiboxing is how trivial it is to PLEX a second account. Multiboxing is how most people progress in EVE if they play regularly. So long stort short the solution to multiboxing is to end the ability to covert ISK to game time.
Something tells me the people who act like they dont like multiboxing wont like the solution. Thats why ww instead get srupid takes about how passive activites like mining is the cause of multiboxing and the solution is to turn mining into an active activity. Of course this ignores that multiboxers are happy to take risks and perform active activitie. For example there are multiboxers that farm and defend C6 wormholes by themselves.
So basically multiboxing is thriving because you can convert ISK to game time and has nothing to do with wether or not an activity requires a lot of input/risk. Thank you.
It seems to me people don’t like multiboxing because it takes effort. And some don’t even like the players putting in this effort. The irony is that multiboxers are accused of being lazy. But it seems to me the ones that don’t multibox are more lazy.
As a IMAC user there is no multibox options for us, i have 4 accounts, and i can use only one of them at a time.
These clowns suck up all the content and they make sure those of us who don’t know all about their ‘greatness’ suffer for our issues, seems like they forget its just a game and if they deny access to it it will be just them circle jerking each other.

Multiboxing CONTRADICT the very IDEA of a massive multiPLAYER game…it’s called PLAYER not multiaccount. This is all you need to know if you are a serious PLAYER not a shortcutter….PLAYER not ACOUNTER, bottom line……multiaccounters are no players, multiaccounters are not better than cheaters.
To be fair, all or most multiplayer games have cheaters/botters. It comes with the territory. The only way not to run into a cheater is to play offline.
For some that seems to be how they want to play in a sandbox game. Why? OR even how those players enjoys any game grinding. Essentially make a gaming company bottom line look good. Would not have a clue to understanding that mindset. Also so what? Have a fleet of out mining day after day. Making Isk Buy Plex to eventually do what? With?
Ok so a player plexed their accounts till the day CCP closes its door. Congratulations on that achievement. Buy every skin made? Good on you! Eventually having some much plex that, 'oly fart man batman, a fleet follows you into any content you want and crush it without breaking a sweat. What a challenge that must be.
I understand having an alt scout out the next system for gate campers. I get that. But in all seriousness. What I do not understand why multibox for mining or even needing more than a few alts for specialized content.
What is the payoff here? Cause if a multiboxer is converting that Plex into real world money. That would a Very bannable activity. Or am I missing something here. Because multiboxing a fleet of more than two or three ships at the same time. Just does not make sense to me. What am I missing, cause it has to be some advantage other than ‘I can have a dozen monitors up and controlling each ship individually for any activity’. Again it just seems a waste of time and money that has no real world pay off to it. Other than it’s the way I play mindset.
