So, after hearing about the current situation involving the TTT, where would be advantageous for people like me not wanting to be tied to any corp to go and conduct Sci/Indy activities in peace?
Hi o7
For questions like yours when I have the need to seek information I tend to search old forum threads for some answers.
Buying at lowest price in Jita can work if you plan for quick manufacture

I Actually turn to this one allot and really it is research you do yourself, even visiting the systems you feel safe exploring in to check out the tax rate for the planits if you go that path.
Some good websites I use for intel are;
evemarketer . com
evemaps.dotlan . net
zkillboard . com
fuzzwork . co . uk
Those are the sites I use for intel and the forum here I guess.
After awhile you will feel you set your own path and if you need information on various systems we have tools that supply such.
Any one of the other numerous freeports in high sec.
If you can’t find any, you’re not looking outside The Forge region.
NPC station in system with low index … seriously a low index is often more than a rig can save you.
… and if you did industry in Perimeter, you already did pay too much.
There is a trade off.
Doing your industry at, or near, a trade hub is more expensive, however hauling stuff to and from markets is - at the best - a pain in the neck.
So, what works for you is what works for you. I’ve done the “go to a back water an haul half-a-dozen jumps each way”. And I’m now happy taking the hit for convenience.
I operate on the “buy materials, manufacturer, sell” model and you can quickly exceed the capacity of a DST.
The other aspect is “what is a reasonable income?” I could optimise further and make more profit, but I don’t spend what I already earn so why bother with that effort?
I guess when income allows then I’ll build my own industry park. Ta.
Do not forget to train t2 haulers!! Not freighters.
Trust me it is the best SP investment ever especially for indy guys. A DST and BR are very powerful ships to fuel the day-to-day activities you do in New Eden.

No.
Why did you screenshot my post?
Up to you pal but a t1 hauler is a death trap and there are almost 24/7 gankers on the trade routes who specialize in killing these t1 haulers with literally 1-2 ships.
Locator agent can really do wonders in 2023.
