please allow me just a small note to avoid any possible misunderstanding,
to accept something, a fact, does not mean to agree with it, I might accept whatever rule set in place, somehow impossed, but that does not mean I am agreeing , don’t get me wrong please…
No alphas, easier…end of story.
I agree with what you just said that non-players should get none. You are 100% accurate on that fact. However, I think you made a mistake if I look at the entire, grammatically incorrect sentence. Alphas are players of EVE. If you are an alpha you have to be playing EVE Online. Playing according to a dictionary “That plays a game or games; engaged in, given to, or characterized by game playing.” citation: https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/game-playing
So alphas are players. Even if you look at it from a non-dictionary aspect, the amount of money that an alpha gains and the scope of the price of the ships that we can use, compared to the amount that Omegas gain and the scope of the price of their ships is actually proportional. If you think about it, the amount of time it takes for an Omega to gain enough money to buy a Federation titan, is equivalent to the amount of time it takes an alpha to gain enough money to buy a the faction version (just under the tier II) of a federation battle ship. This still even holds for pirate faction ships. It will take the same amount of time for an omega to earn enough money by them selves, to buy a pirate faction titan, and an alpha will take the same time for a pirate faction battle ship.
It is in the Omega view point that we are not players. But if you look at the system as a whole, alphas are actually players. Alphas are players in their own little society called the alpha society. If we were to only consider one point of view, alphas would consider Omegas as botters and hackers who gain money too fast, where as the Omegas would consider the Alphas as non-players.
So how does all this that I said ties into the main topic of this thread? If the Super titan was to be introduced into the game, this whole same amount of time mechanic would be offset by a lot. Basically it would take less time for alpha to gain enough money to buy the best ship that they can fly, than the amount of time it will take for an Omega to buy a super titan.
I did not put this in the OP but I think I should say this now, if tier-II frigates were to be usable by alphas it would actually be a good advertising technique. If one just thinks about it, currently alphas have no clue about how powerful a tier-II or III ship is of any type, be it destroyer, frigate, battle ship, and what not. Let me say what I just said in a more clearer way. If CCP were to let alphas use Tier-II frigates, it would be a good way to advertise to alphas about the power of higher tiered ships compared to the base ships. Basically CCP would be making alphas think about the difference in power of a tier-II frigate compared to the base tier frigate, and think that if there is such difference in power in a frigate, then how big of a difference in power could there be in the bigger higher tiered ships. Basically CCP would be boasting to the alphas, the power of higher-tiered ships, by letting alphas use tier-II frigates. hope I made this understandable and clear enough.
No…
Non payers should be treated as what they are…non payers…
They are no payers so they are no getters…
Simple as is has to be…
T1 frigs and t1 modules…MAXIMUM…
If you want benefit…pay…
Bottom line
You should also not be allowed in the Forums Mr. Non-player in that case.
I could live with that…
So do we.
As long as you don’t stop trolling me i will not either
So the ball is on your side
YOUR “real game” is not the “real game” of everyone…
So keeping YOUR “real game” out of high is reasonable for you because by doing that you allow others to play “their game”…
But even this act of kindness is impossible for PVP’ers that kept their asses powdered for 15 years in this game now…so long that they think it is their birthright to be ass powdered…
Don’t blame the PVP’ers, blame CCP…THEY now have the problem that those players act like childs in the grocery store that don’t get the candy they want, throwing themselves at the floor, crying and hitting the floor with their fists…
That’s the problem if one group of players has been spoiled for so long…
Why do I have a feeling that you work for Pearl Abyss?
You feelings do not matter here…
