Because a “free to player” is willing to pay 4*5 € for 4 weeks full access or other benefits because “he don’t wants to be tied for a month” and “15€ is too much”…

Why is this place always like a monkey zoo. Those who make sense are the zoo customers. Those who do not make sense are the monkeys. For at least once gals and guys, please act all like customers. Acting like monkeys will never lead to a solution.
Here is a good solution for a super capital. Put them in the game, and let NPC rats, autholisian drifters, and FOB’s also have super titans as well. There the PvE is now balanced. PvP is balanced by other players using super titans.
Then all the rest for balance of Alpha and omega ships the ability for alphas to use Tier II frigates.

I might accept the fact that the Alpha free to play option can have a positive result in terms of market attraction to new possible potential long term Omega players, but CAN means just that, only sets that ability of catching a broader range of possible long term players, I believe that only those players really enjoying, let’s say 100% the game, would remain being active and so, eventually move forward and become Omega, p.e. talking for myself now, if the first day I started playing, the current set of rules and limitations, and on the Omega side, advantages in place concerning this matter were applied, I would have equally opted for the Omega pilot, in fact , I cannot play atm, due to computer matters that will surely sort out soon, but if I were playing, definitely couldn’t keep playing forever Alpha, that would be too sad, if it were due to money reasons anyone would go and gain it, so in my opinion, Alpha option, considering game physical resources, serverwise, would be more fair to Omega players if the Alpha playing experiece were time limited, not in terms of a fixed time period, like weeks or months, but in terms of hours per day, option that might keep alive the possibilities of bringing always new long term Omegas whilst taking care of the current sandbox for a better general performance to all.
EVE is a valuable thing that shall be open to anyone, but not granted, one has to win it.
A time limited Alpha would be a terrible decision, not everyone that doesn’t pay have money problems. There are better places where money can be spent like taxes, college, and the future.
There is a famous saying that one is not sad over something that they do not have, if they never experienced it.
By the way your post was off-topic in the first place. Allowing alphas to have the ability to use Tier-2 frigates has nothing to do with time limited Alpha. It should really belong on another thread.
Sorry, my bad, missed that the tier II ship flying by Alpha was specifically the main point of this thread, of couse, please accept my apologize, definitely I have to say I disagree with the allowance anyway, what’s the point ?.. and about the time thing I wrote, well was just a thought, no offense please, thanks.

And alphas should be limited to t1 frigs and t1 modules…non payers get none…as it should be…
