Who agrees about this alowwance?

Oh I see. Yeah OK, wait a moment…

OK, back…
So I looked everywhere and found no such statement which proves you made it up.

You are asserting they broke some promise, and failing to provide any evidence to support your assertion. Ergo, we are dismissing your assertion with the same quantity of evidence.

Except that it was really dumb players who did this. For others it was just another factor to consider. Nothing really much. Something like Jump Fatigue if you need simpler example.

And yes, removing it was make the game easier for dumb players.

I’m right regardless what you “find” or “not find”

Why?

BECAUSE I WAS THERE,HAD SEEN THE PROMISE BEEN GIVEN AND BEEN BROKEN

And NOTHING about your history cluttering bothers me simply because i KNOW what was said and what was done after it.

This is the problem i have with Alpha players. I’m paying multiple subs to keep this game running yet these uppity freeloaders are always complaining and demanding more and more.

They can demand what they want as long as a company is showing them the finger…the problem begins the moment they actually GOT what they wanted…this opens pandoras box and it will not to be closed easily… :stuck_out_tongue:

I was there too and they didn’t. Stop lying.

You’re wrong, regardless of whatever anecdotal commentary you use to justify what you’re saying. Feel free to step it up to something factual if you want to be taken seriously. It’s your claim, so back it up. Show us the promise they made.

They should just make the ultimate doomsday and have a missiles that can blow up suns and planets.

no i’m not…you’re the one that tries to rewrite history…

I’m not the one making asinine claims.

Always makes me laugh when customers think they are in a negotiating position.

“If this happens then we get that”

No.

No, you’re the one burying your head in the sand. Ignoring the times they’ve caved in already, and admitting you intend to ignore any future caving they do too. Until they 100% give Alphas everything that Omegas can do, you won’t admit there’s a problem. So long as Alphas get 99.99% of the game for free, and Omegas have to shell out cash for that last ship/skill/whatever they refuse to give over… You don’t think it’ll be a problem?

I’ve been very clear that I make no definitive forecasts of the future. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. I don’t know, and at this point, it doesn’t matter.

All I know is that right now, things aren’t what you’re screeching about. If that changes, you can bet I’ll adjust my stance to reflect it. But I’m not about to hang them for something until they do it.

As I said once already, the whole thing Balos and I are arguing is whether or not they’ve already broken their promise about alphas never getting as much as omegas. I’ve definitively proven that they’ve not broken it. Balos feels that his Ouija Board forecast of the future validates his claim that they’ve somehow already broken their promise. Time doesn’t work that way though, so, :man_shrugging:

And there’s the rub. You’re speaking about the future. Will it be a problem, if they break their promise? Sure, it will be. But that’s a very different question than “Is it a problem?”. At the moment, it is not.

Forecasts be damned. If you’re right, I win Eve and play a different game. If you’re wrong, I keep playing Eve. Either way, I get something I want. So… why would I care if you’re right about the future or not?

And once again, in case you missed the suggestion last time… I want you to go repeatedly slam your dick in a door. But you aren’t allowed to forecast the future of how that event is going to turn out. You’re only allowed to critique the moment it happens. And then I expect you to do it again, because there is no proof that it’s going to hurt as much the next time as it did the last time.

We’ve already seen CCP cave in to Alphas, with their crybaby attitudes and their cardboard signs on the street corners. So far they’ve gained access to T2 modules, other races’ ships, and even faction ships. Sure, there’s still lots of stuff they don’t have access to… yet. But that just means they’ve still got excuses to post threads asking for more free stuff. And given the precedent they’ve established, whereby whining and crying a lot eventually gets them the things they wanted for free… They’ll probably continue to get more of the features that we’re expected to pay for. Until they either get the entire game for free, or they get everything they were interested in using.

You aren’t fooling anyone with that avatar Dryson. Just buy the permit already and be done with it…

Cheesus Crust…

An interesting analogy; it’s fundamentally flawed though.

  • CCP has not created parity. The best your analogy could do to approximate this to stop the door before it actually comes into contact. The door coming closer but still not touching would offer no discomfort.
  • Said dick being slammed in said door is the ultimate outcome. CCP’s approach towards parity is not the ultimate outcome (parity is the ultimate outcome). Repeated measurements of an outcome are in no way analogous to repeated measurements of an action that has not yet reached conclusion.
  • The approach towards parity that the previous alpha change made can only suggest the future, not define it. The slamming of one’s dick in the door definitively proves that it hurts.
  • Getting my dick slammed in a door is a lose/lose scenario. As I said earlier, the ultimate outcome is moot. I will still receive enjoyment regardless of the outcome. Win/Win.

Ignoring your irrelevant analogy, lets consider that your argument of inevitable clone parity is ultimately proved correct.

  • Is that now? No it’s not. I can enjoy the game today, and today’s enjoyment will not be diminished by tomorrow’s change. There are no time-traveling parity-alpha players floating around in today’s Eve.
  • When it does happen, what do I lose? Nothing. All the bits and bytes, all the pixels, all the IP, all the everything that is Eve is not my property. When it goes up in smoke, I’ve lost nothing because I had nothing. My gain in playing Eve is the enjoyment of playing it. A transient experience, which cannot be retroactively degraded.
  • The absolute worst possible outcome, I stop playing Eve and look back on it fondly when it was what it is now.

Holy moly…that white knight attitute is simply annoying…

“I can’t find any promise that ccp make about alphas so it never happend…and so i never searched for proof…”

CCP never promised something that they did not keep right?

Don’t HAS to be?

Well…you’re wrong…but i don’t care to proof it to you…i was there to see it…

Then it is just your opinion and no one has to even consider it to be valid. The burden of proof is always on the person making the claim.

Please, shut up. You’re a boring ■■■■.
