Who agrees about this alowwance?

Allow me on the basis of recent events to assess what will happen in the future the moment alphas start to cry about wanting to use bombers…
In opposition to you i’m capable of that.

And it WILL happen…not seeing it like you is sad in my eyes…

And btw…
To deny a reality that is obvious enough to see is a clear indication of fanboy behavior

Teacher, teacher teacher … i know thhe answer to this one!

I remember Balos from the forums and different char. I can’t yet point out whose alt it is, but basically there aren’t/weren’t that many people around who excessively used “ellipsis”. For the uneducated: that’s the “…” i keep making, in a much better way than he does. Also his style of writing feels really familiar.

I have to apologise for “growing old”, I guess. There were times long behind us, when Paranoid Loyd called me “troll sniffer” for my to-the-point accuracy.

Haters gotta hate.

They’ve clearly, 100% not broken their promise. You state they have. You are wrong in this assertion, with no room for some kind of twisted justification.

Will they do it later? Time will tell. But you’re making assumptions about the future.

So what?

If i’m right you will tell me i was lucky?
I’m saying it WILL come this way and i WILL be right.

All YOU can do is sitting at the sideline and wonder how i do it…
But that’s no secret…just knowledge and experience…

Seen it in the past, knowing what will happen in the future, simple as it is…

No, you did not say it will come true. You said it did come true. Which is patently false in every possible sense.

IF it happens, I’ll make my own peace with the matter then. Until such a time, don’t go hanging them before they’ve committed the crime. You’re literally calling them out for something they haven’t done.

The way CCP monetizes EVE may be logic and make sense because it was grown from what it used to be for people who know and play EVE. But everyone should just take a step back sometimes and watch what they actually do from a neutral point of view and it looks more than strange to me:

  • The majority of ships and modules is locked behind a 15$ monthly paywall aka. subscription
  • There is a cash shop selling non-vanity in-game items
  • If you don’t have a subscription the SP needed for those modules train 50% slower than if you had a subscription.
  • You can buy SP (experience points in other games) directly from the cash shop
  • If you buy a sub and train SP on the wrong skill you lose access to the skill if you don’t pay anymore the next month even though you theoretically payed for it.
  • If you have a subscription you can use multiple accounts simultaneously

I don’t blame anyone if they look at EVE from the outside and think this is blatant pay2win (as in pay to get an advantage). There aren’t many games that are worse in that respect.

First off… It has already happened.

  • Alphas were limited to flying ships from their chosen race. Then they cried, and now they can fly all races.
  • Alphas were unable to fly Faction ships. Then they cried, and now they can fly Faction ships.
  • Alphas were limited to T1 modules. Then they cried, and now they can use most of the T2 modules.

If your only grounds for an argument are “you can’t foretell the future” then here’s what I want you to do. Go stand in your kitchen, and slam your dick really hard in the refrigerator door. Then when you can see straight, I want you to do it again. And after you’re done coughing up blood, I want you to do it again. But you’re not allowed to formulate an opinion about whether or not it’s going to hurt the next time, based solely on the fact that it hurt last time. Just keep doing it, and let me know if you get a different outcome one of these times.

And what about when they can? What will your argument be then? “Well, can they fly Carriers?”

And after that. “Well, can they fly Titans?”

You think you’re being funny, but there was a time when it was actually like this for EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER.

You’d buy your sub, buy the learning skillbooks, and sit in your starting station for four months training the skills to train skills.

“No!”, you may think to yourself. “CCP would never be that dumb. Would it?” Well, yes. They were indeed that dumb. And that was one one of the milder irritants of joining the EVE family back in the day.

…and… AGAIN… can bombers be flown by alphas? No? Then it hasn’t happened has it. Has the gap narrowed? Sure. But there’s still a gap.

So no. It hasn’t happened yet. Omega still offers a wide variety of perks over alpha. In terms of accessible ships, accessible skills, training speed, and out-of-space activity (PI, mfg, etc).

See? A clear admission that a gap between omega and alpha exists.

Holy hell you’re thick. Nobody is arguing that Alpha == Omega

We’re basically protesting the FACT that CCP keeps giving Alphas more and more stuff for free. And if they don’t rein it in, they’re going to give away everything the Alphas could want, at which point they won’t have any more motivation to upgrade to Omega.

Alphas are hobos on the corner, with a new cardboard sign every week. No matter what you give them, they just come back asking for more.

I wish you wouldn’t paint an overly generalized view of all alphas since it is clearly not true. I am an alpha (quit playing the game many years ago and had to roll a new alpha alt due to the alpha restrictions) and I don’t begrudge the restrictions placed on my alpha account nor do I walk around with a cardboard sign saying give me more. You are wrong to say all Alphas are hobos demanding more.

Did I say “every single Alpha in the game”? No… just like nobody said “Alphas == Omegas”. You’re just as bad as the other guy.

People are dumb
Politicians are dirty
Hobos are beggars

Do those statements preclude the possibility of exceptions? Nope.
Congrats on being an exception. You’re an Alpha who doesn’t mind being an Alpha. Unfortunately, your brethren are making a bad name for you, by being a bunch of greedy freeloaders.

BTW, you didn’t need to make a new Alpha alt if you’re returning. You could have played the old toon, just with Alpha restrictions. You may be trained to fly a Titan, but you aren’t allowed to use those skills unless you go Omega again.

Yes, I know that. Making a new alt was a personal decision. Because of my experience relearning the game, I am now willing to buy a subscription for this character so I can get back to using my T2 frigates for exploration.

BTW, saying Alphas == hobos implies all alphas are hobos. You are still a doofus.

Not true at all. Consider where my disagreement with @Balos_Tritapo started:

“Promise broken”. Quite a definitive statement. Also provably false. Alphas do not have as much as Omegas. Right here, right now, as well as consistently back to the very inception of alpha clones. Where they go from here is moot. The statement I disagreed with was that it was broken now. And it’s not.

RIGHT NOW…

Can or can alphas not f.e. fly bs and faction ships?

This alone is a broken promise by ccp!

How do i know it?

I was there as the promise was made by devs.

There is no way to deny this years later…i was there ,heard and read it…end of “discussion” because you only try to deny what i’ve experienced by my own…you act as some kind of propaganda stater that operates as history clutter…

Feel free to link it.

I’m not here to do your work…if i’m wrong it’s your job to prove me…YOU are denying it…
