Alphas literally are hobos standing on the side of the road holding a cardboard sign asking for free stuff.
And no matter what you give them, they just ask for more free stuff.
- Alphas started out only able to use T1 ships from their chosen race. Then they cried, and now they can fly all races.
- Alphas still couldn’t fly Faction ships. Then they cried, and now they can fly Faction ships.
- Alphas started out unable to use T2 mods. Then they cried, and now they can use just about all of the T2 mods.
Alphas need to stop trying to get everything they want for free, and just subscribe to the damned game.

That’s just it. The stupidity of the OP’s request is absolutely a problem… but it’s not -the- problem. There are a tonne of Omega idiots too. Heck, depending on who you ask, there’s probably a good few that’d call me an idiot. I know there’s a LOT of omegas that I hold in poor regard.
The real problem I have with Alphas is that Alphas are literally freeloaders. While we fund the development and sustainment of the game, alphas simply partake. That you can play long term as an alpha justifies that you like the game… so why not support the developers?
That’s why I dislike alphas. Renters are just not real people and thus subject to disdain.
CCP being under PA’s thumb now puts them at ever-higher risks of monetizing the game further. Unless, of course, they’re already making good money.
I remember having a BS bomber suggested as a new counter for the titan/super power-creep.
- Cannot use Covops Cloak (would be broken).
- Can fit a Large Bomb Launcher.
- Is a T2 variant of the BS that doesn’t have one yet.
- Is not tough enough to be fielded everywhere, so that it is kept just as a counter to cap blobs. (And that way it can be cleared off the field by subcaps.)
Then you balance the Large Bomb so that it apply damage crappily on anything smaller than a cap.

I’ve made similar requests to allow bomb launchers on blackops battleships.
Would greatly expand their niche, without stepping on bombers - they remain the comp you’d use in high risk / low SP scenarios.
But adding bomb launchers to blackops means now you’ve got some staying power, lots of pew, and void bombs. They’d become a nightmare scenario for any active tanked cap. Though I do think they also need a bit more tank to adequately fulfill that role.
Discussions like this makes it clear for any non fanboy that the game is in its final throes.
Payers complaining that non payers get way too much and non payers complaining not getting enough…
Free to play going live was the beginning of the end as some said a couple of years ago…
They were laughed at because there was the PROMISE that alphas NEVER will get as much as omegas…

Alphas can use t2 modules,faction ships and many other things…so stop appeasing it
