How are these seal clubbing?
Both participants voluntarily agreed to PvP, if the loser had poor judgment that’s on them - they shouldn’t have accepted that engagement!

I dont think the current devs have much empathy. They probably got the job by manipulating their superiors. Needless to say they think abbrasive content is good content. And it shows on all areas. For example Skyhook thefts, ESS robberies, Hot drops, Corruption 5, and last but not least high sec ganking. These mechanics are absolute cancer but in the eyes of the current devs thats a good thing (Its not) Peace
Neither do I.
… and you are just a cannon fodder ![]()
This. At the end of the day, it’s just a game. People call it PvP or a “sandbox,” but sometimes things feel wrong and go way too far. It honestly seems like situations like that need at least some level of regulation — similar to how the internet or AI technologies are being discussed today. The internet was originally designed to connect people and transmit information, yet somehow we ended up with “redeem stuff,” OnlyFans, and TikTok.

I’m 50/50 with you for the most part bout eve and pvp. but for this event, I feel its just bad coding. There is no counter play for the player who is doing the event against the “fast thief”
that’s not competition, that’s just gank pure and simple, unless you are speaking about players at war with each other and whatnot. If the Devs wanted comp, the player could choose who to shoot and the “elite” would respond accordingly. (i could be in Amarr space and assisting my Minmatar brothers)
I’d like to think I’ve progressed past that, lol.
Someone really hates data sites today
Warp to the site and can’t get close to the cans as the ship just wants to spin in a jagged dance.
Is this event worse than the PVP Fest?
I haven’t participated in this event and probably won’t, but the title for the worst, the most ridiculous ‘‘event’’ ever created by CCP (now Fenris) goes to that one.
Because they are miserable people who got picked on irl and now take it out on EVE players. IT’s their little way of getting back at the cruel world that would not accept them. They probably pinch babies when nobody is looking and kick puppies too. And they want to spread that hatred for humanity to as many souls as possible. It’s very diabolical.
too bad they didn’t make it like the homefront ops ones where you had to become suspect if you weren’t the first one in…
Nobody can change the way we feel about Princess

I think this is entirely the wrong way to look at it.
I think they don’t want us to hate other players, they are trying to teach us restraint and perspective.
They are posing the question “Why should you get angry when other people profit from your hard work?” which is a deep moral question.
They are helping us grow as people.
