Most ships got cheaper though.

Yeah, that’s why it’s bad to reuse same name for different things.
They should at the very least have renamed it , eg PLEAS or FLEX.

Because ISK is actually the real-world currency of Iceland. They’ve been using EVE in a money scheme for years to keep the entire country afloat.

Inflation has been rampant since the introduction of incursions. I can remember the Plex prices being 1/10th of what they are now (around 250mil) 10 or so years ago. Also, I’m pretty sure CCP started buying a portion of the Plex market at some point to raise Plex prices. Also skill injectors rose the price of Plex considerably.

Corvettes are free, atrons are basically free too. Maybe what you really mean is it would be nice to have a super overpowered ship for free?
you get 3 of them! sunesis, gnosis and praxis ! 3 ships wich dont need skills to sit in ! 3 ships wich 5 different weapon boni ! 3 ships with omni resistens for shield and armor ! 3 pretty strong ships and CCP gifted them to their playerbase !
i know … this isnt a real definition of “overpowered” but still powerful ships

and i think hull prices are not more expensive then before scarecity ! sure, not all of them but the common ones for combat !
The worst thing to ever happen to the game is Skill Trading. CCP broke a promise with that move.
HOWEVER…I have since forgiven them and have jumped on that bandwagon.

Be…cause… you can buy PLEX on the New Eden store for real life money and then sell it in game for in-game money.

There is a way for this to be fixed CCP can have several of their employees to play for a while and by most of the items in the game and sell them back slightly cheaper to balance the market and by doing so it will force the market to adjust two more logical prices , another thing is that now with Plex is easy for a player to buy an expensive item there for driving the prices up , is just like giving cheap loans easily and that drives the housing market high and this way you get the 2007 over again housing market crash but that cannot happen here because the money are given by God
