Let‘s face it, EVE is a game not for everybody. It‘s a game for people who like freedom, options (as many as possible), and exploration in the sense of trying things out and experimenting with risk of failure. In the best case this is only attractive to like 5% of the population.
While this by itself is not a problem, it poses a restriction to a maximally possible financial exploitation to CCP. This means it simply will never be financially as successful like other games, which are attracting a larger population, e.g 80%.
The big question is now, will the new owners of CCP will be able to supress their greed enough to not competely break the game for the hardcore paying gamers while trying to expand the game to other player bases.
Before the Triglevian incursion I was very pessimistic about the future of EVE, but now I have some hope again.

and real life business has been limited my gameplay a lot recently and I am not quite experienced in the matter of pvp so I really do not deserve this yet…
Still looking for a corp to join though so I can move up in the ranks of proper pvp against tyrants and code.
Not to point out the obvious, but it is only possible to live out your ‘white knight’ fantasy because Eve offers so much player freedom and room for both self-styled heroes and villains.
Also not to point out the obvious, but the morality play that is pirates and anti-pirates in Eve isn’t a relevant factor for player retention. It often gets trotted out as such, but those attrition numbers show that the vast majority of players quit long before they have any chance to run into the handful of pirates left in the game. It also has been there since the beginning when players flocked to this game in droves.
Boredom and confusion are the major newbro killers. And yet CCP has spent years now making their game more boring. No wonder there is a problem with not only established players leaving, but new ones not sticking with it.

I simply wrote my opinion, you answered so I further clarified. Not sure why you bring up stuff you wrote, that was nothing I was talking about or I’m even interested in.

EVE is simply a niche game, and this is what I wanted to state. Furthermore, I wanted to point out that you can have economic success with niche products, if you properly understand your niche.
They are now going to misuse the flag function on you, all I do is check for anything that a reasonable person can find offensive and adjust it, I then just add F to it changing the text slight and if they flag it again an ISD gets to look at it and at that point their flag alt gets noted by the ISD. I hope that the ISD then remove their ability to flag or reduce their weighting in some way.
He is pretty thin skinned for someone who like to throw barbs at others, which is why I have him blocked.
The first flag just hides it with no interaction. So if your post is being flagged due to butthurt, as I feel is the case with your post above you need to add F to the bottom of it so it shows again. If he flags it again an ISD will look at it and there are repercussions for people who false flag posts.
