While playing with multiple clients I often use “win+tab” to see all open clients and switch to the one I want. The small icons used to be live pictures. What I mean if I fly with autopilot the icons did show the live picture. I saw when a ship reached final destination. But for quite a while those small icon are still puctures. Sometimes it’s the login screen oder any other situation as a kind of “snapshot”.
Any ideas how to get the live picture back? Googling around I don’t even find other people with the same topic. Maybe using wrong key words for my search?
I think the feature you’re talking about is called Thumbnail Previews. The Google search I would try would be “taskbar thumbnail preview not working windows 10”

You know what, I forgot how to read. It’s the Win+Tab live preview that you’re having problems with and not the taskbar one.
Anyway, I think the feature in question is called “task switcher live preview,” but I’m having difficulty finding an answer to this myself. Here are a few stabs in the dark though.
Update graphics card drivers
You can try enabling peek. It’s for an unrelated feature, but multiple people have said that having it off can cause problems.
