Winter Nexus questions

Got a few random questions about doing them in lowsec and couldn’t find answers to this.

Does opening the filament take you to any random lowsec system?

Once in lowsec, do you scan down the ded site or simply warp to it on dscan? Once the ded site is open, do other people need to scan down the ded site or do they warp to it on dscan?

How do you extract yourself out of lowsec? Is there a specific filament you need? Or is it automatic upon completion of the ded site?

Filaments moves you to random system that is center of storm in respective security status chosen by filament (High, low, null).

DED sites aren’t part of event. It’s anomalies or scanned, hacking sites. You use probe window (alt-p).

Once someone initiates warp to event anomaly (combat site). Beacon shows up in overview. People can use it or above to warp to a site.

Filaments are any other way to travel in game.

The LS filaments take you to a random LS system with an ice storm.

The event sites are combat anomalies, not DED sites. You can see them on the probe scanner and immediately warp to it. (It’s the probe window, not dscan) Others can do the same thing, or warp to the beacon that pops up when the first person initiates warp to the site.

You can use Pochven filaments or just gate out of LS. Same as if you wandered into LS instead of filamenting in.

When do the ice storms move onto a new constellation or group of systems?

I believe the center moves 1 jump every 24 hours or so, and the strong/weak systems shift accordingly
