Wondering how many "mega multis" will be heading to Exordium to avoid ganks

Why don’t they want to accept this simple reality?

why don’t you?

You tell me.

Nobody cares anymore.

The gankers dont even care anymore. I see no mass exodos of threads any longer about gankers not being able to pop new bros coming out of exordium. If its happening, then nobody is talking about it.

The only folks i see here that even remotely speaks on the subject are the few that are still disturbed that a totally safe area was even implemented in the game in the first place. Other than that, im betting that all the others have found their existing hunting grounds still rich with targets.

From the looks of Aikos channel, it appears that there is still no shortage of targets to mingle with and its still business as usual.

It’s disgusting, like having soft drinks served in a pub, or vegetables at a hog roast.

Seriously? I thought the topic of PVP with respect to Exordium was the least discussed one in the forums, whereas the impact on the other topics were discussed much broader?

Do you by chance not read posts if the first sentence is not about PVP?

I mean, help me understand.

If youre not just hanging around there all frustrated about not being able to gank newbros in an all safe area…then why still be disgusted about it.

If youre still doing what you did, where you were doing it before exordium, then why does it bother you so much afterwards. Why keep pondering about it.

Im sure for the ones that will stay with the game, youll eventually get to dance with them sooner or later…right?

Most, if not almost all gankers have better things to do rather than poke a stick at a small group of newbros in an area that doesnt effect their end game that much.

Because the idea, let alone the reality, of a non-pvp space in a pvp game offends me. Much like some would find sex outside of marriage offensive, regardless of if they had to witness it.

Thats not a good comparison.

I dont think that the real world ideology of no sex before marriage that some people practice can be even closely compared to one sulking in a video game because theres something in there that they dont like and doesnt effect him or her one dang bit.

Youre really going to allow a player safe zone existing live rent free in your brain from here to eternity?

I thought it was quite sensationalist.

It appears we’ve moved from Exordium “whales” to whether Exordium should exist in the first place. So with 2 months (soon to be 3) of data pretty much showing that Exordium isn’t being abused as an ISK faucet - the only thing to concede at this point is whether or not Exordium was a good idea.

On this point - I’m on the fence. Yes, great idea to have a “starting” region for new players. Yes, great to make the region economically starved so it won’t get exploited. Not sure about the other aspects.

Is there enough new content for the NPE (New Player Experience)? Is said content engaging or boring as sin? Is the lack of PvP (aka: criminal activities) good or bad for new players? Are fewer players in the starting region better or worse for the NPE?

@Arthur_Aihaken or anyone that wants to answer…

Well, i asked before…and ill ask again.

Where are all the new player reviews at. Have you see any actual feedback from a new player?
And im not talking about exordium chat…im talking about real feedback actually written somewhere…you know, constructive feedback.

Some people seem to think that only a new players feedback is relevant…okay we will play that silly game. If the new players are giving feedback…then where is it. Please link any link where new players are giving any helpful feedback for them to improve on whatever needs adjusting.

Besides that clown show…im always in support of any game adding whatever they deem necessary to draw in the masses. Sure they dont always go the way they want…ive seen a lot of failure in many games that ive played and still play today.

I guess its the thought that counts? Something is better than nothing? Players are always going to ■■■■■ about what theyre given?

You pick which fits the best.

The odd comment in the EVE forums (haven’t found very many, to be honest), various takes from “veterans” who’ve visited (mostly when a lot of the initial content was broken) and what I’ve been able to find on Reddit (which isn’t a lot either, but more than the forums).

There’s basically nothing on YouTube except the usual influencers/shills that I try to avoid like the plague. Mike might have some feedback as he’s handing out ships a lot in that region. OZ has had a few brief discussions on various episodes from what I remember.

EVE-related news/blogs seems to have died on the vine so that avenue is pretty much non-existent as well.
…

Vanguard seems to be the lightning rod for a lot of discussion right now (at least on Reddit) - probably due to the event. I think the general consensus from players (both from those that have played and those that haven’t) is that Vanguard is going to be DOA - same as Frontier. Some players really like Vanguard - but I think the majority think it’s 5 years too late to market.
