Our characters are not handless CCP. Thus they can hold things. At least put enough room in capsules to carry a blue print or 4.
Not a fan of this.
First, where is the stuff when you are in your ship, and can you access it/move it around when your pod is socketed.
Second… why? What purpose would this change serve that isn’t already able to be done elsewhere?
Need just a tiny bit of cargo space, then use a shuttle. Need a bit more speed or HP, then use a frigate or interceptor. And if cost is a deciding factor… noobships are free.
OTOH, I’m not a hater of the concept, I just don’t see the point.

That’s what noobships are for.
But there is one thing no ship can beat a capsule in… time to warp.
kinda why everyone is against this…
Mo. Go away … and stay away FFS!
Add drug bay to pods so I can inject my drugs without a dumb ship or station. I just want to trip balls floating near the sun pls
Haven’t you seen the intro video? Your clone body is floating in fluid, your pod is filled with fluid. Your blueprints would get wet!
Also, this is what shuttles are for.
Your character is floating in goo, connected to the outside through implanted cables. You only think you had hands you could move. If you could actually use them then anything in your hands would get soaked in goo.
There is in fact 0.0 m3 of cargo space left in your pod. It is filled to the very top with goo, and you don’t want anything floating or just bubbling around in it besides yourself. And don’t even think of your butthole for smuggling, Mister. The most you can get in there is perhaps 0.001 m3!
Maybe in yours…
Another dumb idea… We need a hashtag for it - #dumbplayersideas
I’ve never tried and the 0.001 m3 is just an estimate for a well-trained one.
Just an FYI that’s 1L
To me that’s a lot. Are you saying yours can hold more than that? And more importantly, are we really talking about buttholes now?
I was saying 1L seems extreme lol
Agreed, but after I’ve seen the Goatse Man am I open to consider larger numbers for an estimate.
I am so glad I didn’t google that to find out what it was and instead went straight to Wikipedia
With all the talk now am I starting to wonder if pod pilots can actually do it or if they might not just have a cable already there.
The only image I could find, and it’s an old one, suggests no. It only raises new questions …
We have an entire subforum for it, it’s called Features and Ideas.
