Signal Cartel Research Report
While exploring deep nullSec, a previously unremarked structure was identified on directional scan and overview: an Outpost Conversion Monument, a landmark object in space, visible but not registered as a beacon. Further investigation confirmed it to be one of the permanent monuments deployed by CCP during the transition from the pre-Citadel outpost era to the modern Upwell structure age.
These monuments mark the exact locations of New Eden’s former conquerable stations and capsuleer-built outposts. From the earliest outposts of YC107 to their conversion in YC120, these sites represent the physical footprint of the alliances that once shaped the map of New Eden.
Recognizing their historical value, Signal Cartel initiated a long-term expeditionary survey to locate, verify, and document all 95 known Station and Outpost Conversion Monuments scattered across nullsec space. Each monument stands as a silent record of an outpost that once existed there.
This project is not about sovereignty or ownership. It is about preservation: recording the last remaining physical traces of the first capsuleer empires before they fade into obscurity.
The full survey, including confirmed locations and historical context, is maintained here:
