What landmark locations would you love to see in New Eden? Part 2

Fellow capsuleers,

As an explorer of Signal Cartel and long-time archivist of New Eden’s forgotten corners, I often find myself returning to the old Chronicles, the ancient reports, fragments, and half-remembered stories that predate even many of our Empires’ current borders. They remain some of the richest pieces of lore in our cluster… and many of them describe places we have never been able to visit.

I would love to see some of these historical sites become fully realized Landmarks, especially those tied to pivotal moments in early interstellar exploration:

• The Eye of the Needle – the Sixth Candidate’s Wreck
A silent memorial around the 5th planet of the damaged wreck from Lakat-Hro Great Caravan. The Chronicle paints such a vivid picture of that freighter, it feels like a site begging to be rediscovered, catalogued, and preserved.

• Nale’s Wreck – from The Book of Emptiness
A jagged monument drifting somewhere between failure and myth. The fate of Nale’s expedition is still a mistery where it ended.

There are other Chronicles, short stories, each holding pieces of New Eden’s early history, where a wreck, a derelict station, or a phenomenon could become a physical place for explorers to find, visit and study.

In addition, many existing Landmarks lack full descriptions or historical context. It would be wonderful if some of these could receive expanded lore entries, even short ones, or if the community could help propose additions that enrich the world while keeping it lore-consistent. Giving each Landmark a story, even a brief one, makes New Eden feel more alive, more ancient, and more mysterious.

As capsuleers we chart the space between stars, but it is the stories that give those stars meaning.
A following of this old topic.

The Triglavian Systems (Pochven)

Titan Wreck in Luminaire (Shiigeru)

Caroline’s Star (W477-P)

Molea Cemetery

The Jove Observatories

The Eve Gate

Located in Jove space, it’s unlikely we’ll ever get there, we already have too many systems for the current playerbase, and it’s unlikely CCP will see enough growth to justify adding them.

Kind of already in, if you go to the New Eden system you can see the remnants of the wormhole in the far distance. It’s very remote and still extremely radioactive or something, so actually visiting is out.

Would be nice to have an update to celestial phenomena like this though, EVE Gate remnants have looked the same for decades, and for such a significant locale it’s honestly really unimpressive. Same goes for things like the black holes and pulsars in anoikis, which are just unimpressive blobs on the skymap. It shouldn’t be that hard to replace them with something like animated textures painted on the skymap instead, like the black holes could demonstrate an accretion disk and gravitational lensing, pulsars could have visible relativistic jets, maybe periodically swinging such that they light up a significant blotch of the skybox, coupled with a sound effect to indicate the shields of your ship being blasted by radiation.

A last touch on Synthetic Infomorph suggestion, on the map we have some nice information about Vapor Sea, The Cauldron, Trace Cosmos and others.
But some others nebulae doesn’t have this luxury.
Like Lonetrek, Metropolis, Immensea.

It would be a nice addition.

I would like for something to overlap between eve:frontier and eve:online

For now the games have nothing in common except they both have EVE in their name and uses similar game engines.

There should at least be some sort of landmark in EO from EF since EF is technically the precurser to EO.

I will walk myself out.
