Terrible. Just ridiculous. Tired of CCP wrecking my experience with this game over and over lately. Want to know about my eve experience lately??? 2-3 months ago was running L4 filaments about 5-10 a day. After a few weeks of it, had earned the cost of my filament fit and then BOOM…my fault got a little too ballsy and kited too many drones into a suppressor. Oh well, I’ll load all my trig survey data into an industrial and run it a few jumps over to the concord station. 2 jumps out BOOM. Suicide ganked by 6X tornadoes. No I wasn’t on auto pilot. Wreck did not drop a single survey and i had 2.5 bil isk of survey data in the hold. Immediately put in a botting ticket because it was clear that no real person could’ve cargo scanned that fast and the alpha from all the ships was simultaneous. Takes CCP almost a month to respond to my ticket, but botting confirmed and they refund my industrial (who cares) and my 2.5 billion survey data. I didn’t even play during that time i was so angry. I take my refunded survey data and sell it without incident, replace my ship. Okay were back to square one now. Took an additional break of about a month then decided to go back to filaments. Second filament get a big spawn of sparks and BOOM. WTF. Ive done this probably 100 times what happened??? That was 8 days ago. Literally have just done nothing but boring stuff and a little WH play and some EDCOMS for the last week or so and then today when plying with PYFA, notice huh? why does ingame show different then PFYA resists (yes hadnt update PYFA). Find out about this resist nerf. Seriously I’m sorry but this is a friking joke. I knew nothing of this HUGE friking change and your stupid patch cost me another 3Bil isk . In addition to this, how is anyone supposed to ever complete a L4 or 5 filament again? MAXXXXXED out assault cruisers could just barely run them before. with 20% less resist they are completely impossible now.
CCP I am seriously disgruntled right now. You owe me 3Bil ISK again AND your going to have to rebalance solo filaments. Did you even think when you did this? No you just said hey we can destroy 500Trillion in ships if we sneak in a giant resist nerf patch which equates to 100’s of millions of plex purchases. I’m so done with this trash.
And then this in the fine print. Yes the eagle needed to go slower and have PWG reduced because it has a native resistance buff. I mean really. One of my favorite ships, but honestly is already useless for any of the newer content because of the super short ranges it can apply DPS, So take 40PWG (a tank or damage mod is what that really amounts to) and some speed tank to make up for it ON TOP OF THE 20% you took from the damn shield mods that it still has to fit. What is the eagle good for anymore?
Funny story: People who complain about interceptor nullification are going to be surprised when actually non-nullified ships become even more slippery than nullified ships. Needlejack filaments are such a huge pain in the back.
My sentiment is the same as pretty much everyone else’s. CCP, stop trolling us to see if we love your game enough to stay. We do, but some of us are starting to find these “balance” tweaks outright distasteful.
Well I’m a little bit confused here. Other than you stating that you don’t like me, just exactly what are you trying to say?
That you agree with a paying customer having the right to voice their dissatisfaction about negative changes or is your agreement insinuating that I’m just a complainer?
Its even beyond that for me. After coming back from not playing for about a year, I became intrigued with the idea of these ultra hard burner mission equivalent filaments and played in PFYA and the PTR for about a week min maxxing a fit until i had what felt like a nice safe fit for farming filaments. Unfortunately, i quickly found that it such a fit will cost you 2bil+ for t4 and t5. After being certain that I had a stable fit, I plexed my account and bought the ship. I earned every penny that I spent back up until the point of the second loss due to this patch. That’s not “a negative effect on my gameplay” that is called fraud and it is illegal.
Actually it is because that I do understand that just because a company makes a statement that PLEX has no monetary value doesn’t make it true. If you believe that then you should also believe me when I tell you that I’m actually a pink unicorn with a licorice addiction and live inside a neutron star.
