That has been said to me thrice now. Look. I am as calm as is humanly possible. Not all usages of CAPS indicate distress. By now it’s clear that your intention is to convey to me that you think my opinion is childish, but you do so in the most childish way imaginable.
It wasn’t my intention to become political, I’m just a European so it stands out to me when one perceives something as childish, only to attack it with even more childish accusations that have nothing to do with the issue at hand but serve as distractions: Americana.

They need to at least repair your standings. Some of these can bug and you lose standing because you can’t finish them. If these are so hard/impossible to resolve, then they need to be removed from the game in their entirety and remade with current coding. I lost standing on an event because the item gave an error message so I could not turn it in. Lost faction standing across the board and support refused to help because of the same stupid reason.

I also think it’s cool that people can carve out profitable niche microcareers such as “Mission Item Monopolizer”.
They’re not even hiding in a war-ineligible org, either, which makes me extremely unsympathetic to OP’s cause.

besides that, the whole presentations is a bit misleading. In no way “2 years of faction grind” is needed to run the COSMOS arcs. One can basically create a brand new character and run the COSOMOS arc after like a month if he wants to.
Getting 7,0 faction standing is not that difficult if one knows how the mechanic works. Data Centers and L4 Storyline Misisons push the standing very very fast.
So yeah, it may be that the OP needed 2 years to reach that, but that was his own choice.

I’m confused about why someone would insist on running missions that are well known to be deprecated and have technical issues, and then when they run into the inevitable issue they complain about how unfair it is.

So, its his own choice or there is no way “2 years of faction grind” is needed? As example there is a way to complete all 4 COSMOS for one character and there is really no way out of sisters arc.
You don’t need to do these missions in order to enjoy the game.
They dont need to hide. How do you think, why Otomainen have no structures open to dock for years? Everytime when that structures anchoring there, next week its going to be destroyed by war from Blackflag or Darkside or any else. Theyre in Otomainen for years and years, go try to war them, their career not that micro how you think.
I really could munch popcorn and laugh at this exchange but it really just reminds me of the “ganking is unfair and every ganker is evil in real-life for blowing up my space pixels in-game, wwwaaaahhh” threads too much, as well as being just sad / embarrassing in general.
It is also just the usual cycle of “it is unfair / evil” vs “no it is not” repeated ad infinitum. Maybe the thread and discussion reached its natural end of life… maybe overstayed its welcome a bit as well? Considering a thread closure might be not a bad idea.
Unless you lot (especially OP) can up your game and provide some fresh aspect or something. Because it currently is just going in circles and going nowhere.

See, i was going to do COSMOS missions, read about them on the internet and decided thats not worth my time. If this thread was coming from a month old player i would give him the benefit of the doubt, but a veteran should know better. So the whole discussion is mood because after the first three answers it became a ■■■■ show like every other thread in the past 2 weeks about ganking.

Exactly, it is not a difficult concept to grasp, except for people who are crying about things and project this mindset onto others accusing them of the thing they themselves actually do.
this has always been a pet peeve of mine..
mission runners petitioning items not spawned (when it just got stolen in front of them) or missions not spawning . long time ago on another account i farmed enemies abound over 6 characters… every week i asked for it to be reset. tbh i expected it to maybe to 2 weeks tops not the 6+ months till a gm realized and gave me a friendly telling off.
