As I said, it works for me. I need no laws to limit my actions, because my actions will never be to cause harm. I donāt drink and drive, I wonāt rob someone, ā ā ā ā if I find someoneās wallet Iāll take the extra step to try and get it back to them. Iām not a predator. Iām happy with the idea of tolls on the things I use to finance them (roads for example, I use them so Iām fine paying to build and maintain them).
If people choose to not educate their children, thatās kind of on them for setting their kids up for failure. My son will be attending post secondary (itās his choice, but there will be consequences if he chooses not to), Iāve a sizable education fund built up for him and heās not even out of primary school yet. As for educated decisions for votingā¦ we already have people with the intelligence level of cows pressing for what they want in a democratic forum.

#firstworldproblems We complain when we pay for a GAME (hobby or community group at best) and we are inconvenienced for a few hoursā¦ sigh. We would all be a bit happier to remind ourselves how fortunate we are that MOST of the time the buttons we press and switches we flip do what theyāre supposed to.

I think you have to purchase insurance to cover power outages. The electric companies wonāt just pay you. Maybe we need outage insurance for Eve Online?

Had you paid for the trip via a recognized company that specializes in climbing tours - You could have sought compensation, as a paying customer you have rights.
