Star Trek Discovery is the worst of the worst. Not only did they make the Starfleet an outright fascist entity, where people are not psychologically better off because no more shortage on goods - they have gangsters there like in our century according to neoliberal ideology of human nature, - no they introduce stuff like the spore drive which is not only completely idiotic but also totally against canon. Also Star Trek stood for progressive thought - the people of Discovery took a black woman, put her in top notch vulcan university and the first thing she does is betray her best friend and captain. What should that say to us? It’s a complete disgrace - thinking about this makes me even more angry than waiting on EVE coming back online
