I dontt think CCP want to destroy everything they have done during their long journey over the years.
I play EVE from three / four years and this is the third time that something big happens after one patch.
Just leave a feed with things that do not go and in a couple of days everything will be fine.
Each of us, in one way or another, loses something in this period of time but I do not think that we must scream for it as if it were the end of the world.

Chat server is yo-yoing…
I see myself on one char but no one on the other, still not safe to go out I take it?
Chat system still not working even logging and having 8 hours sleep, must be a reeeal doozy of a glitch somewhere there. System slow as a wet week to load and found myself unexplainedly undocked on login - ahh well, at least the goodies from my first Guristas Hunt site were still in the station where I left them

I can’t form fleet with my other char!
Interestingly, chat seems to work in some systems. Finanar for example has a functioning local chat.
