I’m not really sure how you can say they are doing a good job. Its not the end of the world or anything but they broke something and thus far they haven’t been able to fix it. Not exactly good.
I am sure they will fix everything soon after all that is their job.

Dear collegues, today I had issues with:
- ingame chat communication (local chat not worked correctly by hiding actual standings and chatroom listings inside several channels).
- after undock all fleetmembers minibars and brackets disappeared without any changes inside of overview panel from my side
- some strategic objectives were impossible to complete (reinforce clime structures, defend stations etc.) because of delayed downtime. Null security part of gameplay was just insanely ruined by this caliedoscope of rollbacks and patch applications at productive clusters!
Please reimburst this day to a Community, test patches better before apply them, do not go home until you DEFINITELY did your application operation job appropriately.
CCP are old IT company and i think you’ll take proper steps to minimize customers churn by improving your technical patchment culture and operational tasks efectiveness!
Those support guys who answering to us “keep calm and go play it” all are not working when Community roars after your patch.
Given that the tranq server has been messed up nearly all day (eve time) after the initial patch deployment, i think CCP have a duty to reimburse players in some way for the lost playing time. between drop outs, very poor performance, chat system doing whatever the hell it wants with channels etc and overall a very bad day for players.
CCP, have a think about it, the players that are here on the game are the reason you are in business!
NO ROLLBACKS PLEASE! We have been farming for hours now if we roll back all those hours will have been in vain, just roll with it until its all fixed.
They are keeping us updated and are actively working on the problem. I was on an MMO that went down for “maintenance” one day, didn’t come back and then two days later the devs posted a forum post to the effect of “We’re not doing the game any more. So long and thanks for all the fish.”
The fact that Eve works at all given how bloated the code must be by now is actually really amazing. I’m not surprised something like this came up.
Bartleby Phoenix because another mmo sucked, they keep saying its still broke, and they are trying to fix it doesn’t mean its a good job. A good job would have been releasing a patch that wasn’t broke. Now I understand that their job is harder than some but its the job they were trained to do. Again I have all the confidence in the world that they will fix everything soon, I still can see how that can be considered a good job.
I still feel it’s a good job compared to the rest of the industry right now. I keep coming back to Eve because CCP is better at this sort of thing than most. Sure, it can be argued that this situation sucks and they aren’t perfect at it but hey, I don’t expect perfection out of game devs, even games I pay for.
I admittedly have very low expectations.

i dunno if someone notice but the entire gui cant be saved. each time i finally set it up. i log off and it wont get saved.

THEY DONT GET SAVED. game gui setings 1 r not been readed form the file 2, it autorest the gui config
STOP giving BAD advice, did you test it yourself?! . THE P A T C H has RUINED a lot of game functionality.
That is why I make a backup when everthing is running right, and then restore it after everthing is brought back to normal again. Don’t try to restore while there are issues. That’s like trying to fix an oil leak while driving down the highway.
